| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaruh flushing berbasis pakan lokal terhadap awal birahi, tanggap birahi dan lama birahi domba ekor tipis. Pakan yang diberikan adalah rumput sebagai pakan basal dan tambahan pakan lokal untuk flushing berupa kombinasi dedak dan onggok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental laboratorium dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan F0 (rumput adlibitum) dengan energi 1,01 MkalME, perlakuan F1 (rumput + konsentrat) atau flushing dengan energi 2,31 MkalME dan perlakuan F2 (rumput + konsentrat) dengan energi 2,09 MkalME. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh flushing berbasis pakan lokal nyata (P<0,05) terhadap awal birahi dengan persentase tertinggi adalah 33.00±0.70 jam; dan terendah 36.40±1.14 jam. Tanggap birahi mencapai 100% dan lama birahi dengan persentase tertinggi adalah 30.50±0.81 jam; dan terendah 26.58±0.74 jam. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Flushing pakan lokal dengan tingkat energi 2,09 MkalME dapat mempercepat timbulnya awal birahi dan memperpanjang lama birahi pada domba ekor tipis. Tanggap birahi untuk semua perlakuan adalah 100% akibat penambahan hormon PGF2α dengan dosis 1ml/ekor. |

Inggris) | The purpose of this research was to determine and assess the effect of flushing based on local feed to the onset of estrous, response of estrous and the length of estrous of thin tail sheep. This experimental laboratory used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 5 thin tail sheeps of each treatment as replications. F0 treatment used only field grass with basal feed is 1,01 McalME energy, F1 treatment (used local grass + concentrate) or flushing with 2,31 McalME energy and F2 treatment (local grass + concentrate) or flushing with 2,09 McalME energy. The result of research showed that the effect of flushing was a significantly effect (P<0.05 ) to the onset of estrous with the highest is 33.00±0.70 hours; and the lowest is 36.49±1.14 hours. The response of estrous was 100% for all the treatment. The highest length of estrous is a chieped 30.50±0.81 hours; and the lowest is 26.58±0.74 hours. The conclusions of this study is flushing treatment with different energy level accelerate the onset of estrous, estrous response and the length of estrous of thin tail sheeps. |
