| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase motilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa berbagai ayam sentul. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah ayam sentul jantan umur 34 minggu berjumlah 25 ekor yang masing-masing terdiri dari 5 ekor yaitu ayam sentul abu (S1), ayam sentul batu (S2), ayam sentul debu (S3), ayam sentul emas (S4), dan ayam sentul geni (S5). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah jenis ayam Sentul yang terdiri atas sentul abu, sentul batu, sentul debu, dentul emas dan sentul geni. Peubah yang diamati adalah persentase motilitas dan abnormalitas berbagai ayam sentul. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil rataan persentase motilitas spermatozoa setiap perlakuan yaitu ayam sentul abu = 73,50 ± 4,04%, sentul batu = 75,80 ± 5,45%, sentul debu = 74,00 ± 4,90%, sentul emas = 76,00 ± 2,00% dan sentul geni = 80,60 ± 2,51%. Rataan persentase abnormalitas spermatozoa yaitu sentul abu = 6,67 ± 1,67%, sentul batu = 6,11 ± 0,89%, sentul debu = 6,11 ± 1,14%, sentul emas = 8,30 ± 2,37%, sentul geni = 5,77 ± 1,39%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai jenis ayam sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap motilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah berbagai jenis ayam sentul menghasilkan motilitas dan abnormalitas yang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The aimed of the research was to determine the percentage of sperm motility and abnormalities of various sentul chicken. The subject of this research was 25 heads of male sentul chicken, 34 week old each of which consisted of 5 animals, namely sentul abu chicken (S1), sentul batu chicken (S2), sentul debu chicken (S3), sentul emas chicken (S4), sentul geni chicken (S5). The methode of this research was experiment, using completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 5 replication. The treatments tested were the kinds of Sentul chicken consisted of Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas and Sentul Geni. The variables observed were percentage motility and sperm abnormalities of various sentul chicken. The data were analyzed used analysis of variance. Respectively the average percentages of sperm motility of each treatment were sentul abu = 73.50 ± 4.04%, sentul batu = 75.80 ± 5.54%, sentul debu = 74.0 ± 4.90%, sentul emas = 76.00 ± 2.00% dan sentul geni = 80.60 ± 2.51%. Respectively the average percentages of sperm abnormalities of each treatment were sentul abu = 6.67 ± 1.67%, sentul batu = 6.11 ± 0.89%, sentul debu = 6.11 ± 1.14%, sentul emas = 8.30 ± 2.37%, sentul geni = 5.77 ± 1.39%. The results of analysis of variance showed that various type of Sentul chicken had no significant effect (P>0.05) on motility and sperm abnormalities. The conclusion of this research is various types of sentul chicken produce similar sperm motility and abnormalities. |
