| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Di Kecamatan Kembaran, terdapat tempat budidaya ikan hias “Enjoy Akuarium” yang merupakan satu-satunya tempat pembudidayaan ikan Cupang hias. Trichodina sp. merupakan protozoa parasit yang sering menginfeksi benih ikan air tawar termasuk benih ikan Cupang (Betta splendens Regan). Trichodina sp. yang menginfeksi ikan memiliki perbedaan morfometrik yang menunjukkan jenis dari Trichodina sp. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan variasi morfometrik Trichodina sp. pada benih ikan Cupang di tempat budidaya ikan Cupang “Enjoy Akuarium” Dukuhwaluh Kecamatan Kembaran Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survai dan pengambilan sampel benih ikan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Benih ikan yang diambil dikelompokkan berdasarkan ukuran panjang tubuh benih ikan yaitu 1-1,9 cm; 2-2,9 cm dan 3-3,9 cm. Variabel penelitian adalah kelimpahan Trichodina sp. dengan parameter jumlah Trichodina sp. serta variabel morfometrik dengan parameter diameter tubuh, diameter cincin dentikel, jumlah dentikel, jumlah radial pin per dentikel dan lebar membran Trichodina sp. Kelimpahan dihitung untuk setiap kelompok ukuran benih ikan. Perbedaan kelimpahan antar kelompok ukuran benih ikan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (Annova) dengan taraf kesalahan 1% dan 5%. Karakteristik morfometrik Trichodina sp. dilakukan dengan teknik sampling dari setiap benih ikan terinfeksi. Data variasi morfometrik Trichodina sp. dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 98 ekor benih ikan Cupang yang diperiksa, 23 ekor benih ikan terinfeksi Trichodina sp. Jumlah Trichodina sp. yang ditemukan sebanyak 162 individu dari benih ikan yang terinfeksi. Kelimpahan total Trichodina sp. pada benih ikan Cupang sebesar 1.65 individu/ekor dan tergolong rendah. Kelimpahan Trichodina sp. pada ukuran benih ikan 1-1.9 cm; 2-2.9 cm dan 3-3.9 cm masing-masing sebesar 4.31 individu/ekor; 1.05 individu/ekor dan 0.21 individu/ekor. Ukuran benih ikan 1-1.9 cm memiliki nilai kelimpahan Trichodina sp. tertinggi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan Trichodina sp. antar kelompok ukuran berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Hasil pengukuran karakter morfologi Trichodina sp. menunjukkan adanya variasi morfometrik dengan diameter tubuh berkisar 47.5-82.5 µm; diameter cincin dentikel 20-37.5 µm; jumlah dentikel 12-24; jumlah radial pin per dentikel 9-10 dan lebar membran 2.5-7.5 µm. Trichodina sp. yang ditemukan diduga terdapat tiga jenis Trichodina sp. yaitu T. heterodentata, T. nigra dan T. pediculus. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Trichodina sp. is the protozoan parasite that commonly infected freshwater fish fry included betta fish fry (Betta splendens Regan). The purpose of this study was to determine the abundance and morphometric variation of Trichodina sp. in betta fish fry at Betta fish farming "Enjoy Aquarium" Dukuhwaluh, Kembaran, Banyumas. The method was survey with fish fry sampling using random sampling techniques. Fish fry taken was grouped based on the size of fish fry body length were 1 to 1,9 cm; 2 to 2,9 cm and 3 to 3,9 cm. Abundance was calculated for each group of fish fry size. Differences between groups abundance of fish fry size was analyzed using analysis of variance (Annova) with standard error of 1% and 5%. Measurement of morphometric characteristics of Trichodina sp. was performed by sampling technique from each infected fish fry. Morphometric variation data of Trichodina sp. were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that as many as 98 fry Betta fish were examined, 23 fish fries were infected with Trichodina sp. The number of Trichodina sp. found was as many as 162 individuals from the infected fish. Total abundance of Trichodina sp. in Betta’s fry fish was 1,65 individuals/fish that was classified as low. Each abundance of Trichodina sp. in fish of 1 -1,9 cm; 2-2,9 cm and 3-3,9 cm were 4,31 individuals/fish; 1,05 individuals/fish and 0,21 individuals/fish respectively. The highest abundance of Trichodina sp. was found in fish of 1-1.9 cm. The results of analysis of variance showed that the abundance of Trichodina sp. was significantly different between groups (P<0,05). The measurement results of morphological characters of Trichodina sp. showed that body diameter ranged from 47.5-82.5 µm; denticle ring diameter 20-37.5 µm; denticle number 12-24; number of radial pins per denticle 9-10 and width membrane 2.5-7.5 µm. Trichodina sp. found were suspected from three types of Trichodina sp. namely T. heterodentata, T. nigra and T. pediculus. |
