| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) merupakan salah satu anggota spesies dari keluarga Cichlidae yang dikenal sebagai salah satu komoditas perikanan air tawar. Karakteristik yang berbeda dari aliran arus air di Sungai Serayu dan di Waduk Panglima Besar Soedirman Banjarnegara dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan tubuh ikan dan menyebabkan perbedaan bentuk tubuh ikan. Penelitian ini berjudul “Karakter Morfologi Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) di Sungai Serayu dan Waduk Panglima Besar Soedirman Banjarnegara” telah dilakukan pada periode November sampai dengan April 2015. Metode survei dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive clustered random sampling dengan 3 kali ulangan. Karakter morfometrik dan karakter meristik dijadikan sebagai variabel. Data karakter morfometrik dibandingkan dengan panjang standar sebagai truss morphometric. Jarak truss dari dua kelompok ikan dianalisis dengan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa perbedaan karakter morfologi, yaitu jarak ujung moncong atas dengan batas antara kepala bagian atas dengan permulaan tubuh, jarak pangkal tutup insang bawah dengan ujung moncong atas, jarak batas antara kepala bagian atas dengan permulaan tubuh sampai dengan permulaan sirip perut, jarak permulaan sirip perut dengan permulaan sirip dubur, jarak permulaan sirip perut dengan ujung belakang sirip punggung, jarak permulaan sirip dubur dengan ujung belakang sirip dubur, jarak ujung belakang sirip punggung dengan pangkal sendi ekor bagian bawah, jarak pangkal sendi ekor bagian bawah dengan pangkal sendi ekor bagian atas, jarak ujung belakang sirip punggung dengan ujung belakang sirip dubur. Berdasarkan karakter meristik menunjukkan persamaan karakter, yaitu terdapat 17 jari-jari keras dan 13 jari-jari lemah pada sirip punggung, 18 jari-jari lemah pada sirip ekor, 3 jari-jari keras dan 10 jari-jari lemah pada sirip dubur, 1 jari-jari keras dan 5 jari-jari lemah pada sirip perut, serta 15 jari-jari lemah pada sirip dada. Jumlah sisik gurat sisi 34 buah, sisik melintang badan 17 buah, sisik depan sirip punggung 9 buah, dan sisik di sekeliling batang ekor 12 buah. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Nile fish (Oreochromis niloticus) is a species member of family chiclidae that known as one of fishery commodities. The different characteristics of water flow in Serayu river and Panglima Besar Soedirman reservoir at Banjarnegara can effect the development of the fish body and lead to the differences of fish body shape. An observation entitled “Morphology character of Nile fish (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) in Serayu river and Panglima Besar Soedirman Banjarnegara reservoir” has been performed on the period of November up to April 2015. The survey method with purposive clustered random sampling technique with three replication used in this observation. The morphometric characters and meristic characters are collected as variables. The morphometric character data compared to the standard length as truss morphometric. The truss distances of two groups of fishes analyzed by t-test. Based on t-test it showed that there are some differences on morphological characters, namely the distances of the the tip of the snout above the boundary between the upper head to the beginning of the body, the distance below the base of the gill cover to the tip of the snout above, the distance between the head of the upper limit at the beginning of the body until the beginning of the pelvic fins, pelvic fin spacing beginning with the beginning of the anal fin, pelvic fin spacing beginning with the rear end of the dorsal fin, anal fin spacing beginning with the back end of the anal fin, the rear end of the distance to the base of the dorsal fin tail joints bottom, within the base of the tail joints bottom to the top of the base of the tail joints, distance the rear end of the dorsal fin to the rear end of the anal fin. Based on the meristic characters it showed that the same meristic characters of those groups of fishes, namely 17 spines and 13 rays on dorsal fin, 18 rays on caudal fin, 3 spines and 10 rays on anal fin, 1 spines and 5 rays on pectoral fin, and 15 rays on ventral fin. Total number of lateral line are 34 scales, 17 scales on the transversal body, 9 scales before dorsal fin, and 12 scales on the around at caudal peduncle. |
