| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi menyangkut upaya atau tindakan seseorang pada saat menderita penyakit untuk mencari pengobatan. Perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi ini meliputi tidak melakukan apa-apa, mengobati sendiri, pengobatan tradisional, membeli obat di warung obat dan mengunjungi pelayanan kesehatan profesional. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang erat hubungannya dengan perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi diantaranya faktor sosiodemografi, sosioekonomi dan Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP). Faktor sosiodemografi terdiri dari usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Faktor sosioekonomi meliputi pendapatan, jarak, waktu dan biaya transportasi ke pelayanan kesehatan gigi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan hubungan faktor-faktor tersebut dengan pola perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan pada peserta Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional di Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional dengan responden berjumlah 100 orang. Analisis data bivariat menggunakan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan pola perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi adalah jenis kelamin (p value = 0,000 < α), pendidikan (p value = 0,007 < α), pekerjaan (p value = 0,021 < α) dan pendapatan (p value = 0,001 < α). OHIP, usia, jarak, waktu dan biaya transportasi ke pelayanan kesehatan tidak memiliki hubungan dengan pola perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan (p value > α). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah variabel yang berhubungan dengan pola perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi adalah jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pendapatan. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan melihat faktor lain yang masih terkait dengan pola perilaku pencarian pelayanan kesehatan gigi oleh peserta Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, misalnya faktor kebutuhan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Behaviors in seeking dental health services deal with personal efforts or actions when suffering from a particular illness to seek treatment. These behaviors in seeking dental health services cover no action, self treatment, traditional treatment, buy medicine to chemist shop and visit profesional health services. There are several factors that are closely related to behaviors in seeking dental health services including Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP), sociodemographic and sosioeconomic factors. Sociodemographic factors cover age, gender, education, and occupation while socioeconomic factors cover income, distance, time and cost of transportation to reach those dental health services. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of those factors with behavioral patterns in seeking dental health services of participant with National Health Insurance in Banyumas Regency. This study used cross sectional method with 100 respondents. The bivariate data were analyzed using chi-square. The results showed that variables which were related to behavioral patterns in seeking dental health services included gender (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), education (p value = 0.007 < 0.05), occupation (p value = 0.021 < 0.05) and income (p value = 0.001 < 0.05). OHIP, age, distance, time and cost of transportation to reach those dental health services had no relationship with behavioral patterns in seeking those dental health services (p value > 0.05). Thus, this study concluded that variables which had relationship with behavioral patterns in seeking dental health services included gender, education, occupation, and income. In further studies, it is recommended that the qualitative researches should be conducted and this research should be developed using other factors which are related to behavioral patterns in seeking dental health services of participants with National Health Insurance, such as need factor. |
