| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Prevalensi karies di Jawa Tengah sebesar 26,4% dan prevalensi masalah gigi dan mulut di Kabupetan Cilacap sebesar 33,5%. Pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku dari seluruh komponen tersebut mempengaruhi status kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak. Masalah kesehatan gigi pada anak tidak lepas dari sikap dan tindakan orang tua terutama ibu sebagai orang yang paling dekat dengan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dengan pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Sidanegara. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik korelasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dengan kuesioner dan observasi dengan sampel sebanyak 59 ibu. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan stratified random sampling. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar 52,5% pengetahuan ibu kurang. Sebagian besar 57,6% sikap ibu kurang mendukung. Sebagian besar 54,2% pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak kurang baik. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Sidanegara (p = 0,000). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap ibu dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Sidanegara (p = 0,001). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap ibu dengan pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Sidanegara (p = 0,000). Ibu diharapkan mengikuti penyuluhan tentang perawatan gigi, membaca buku, koran atau internet yang membahas tentang perawatan gigi. Pihak puskesmas untuk memberikan penyuluhan bagi orang tua siswa dengan materi tentang perawatan gigi dan mulut. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The prevalence of Carries in Central Java province was 26.4% and prevalence of the problem of teeth and mouth regency of Cilacap was 33.5%. Knowledge, attitude, and conduct of all components that affected health status teeth and the mouth on child. Health problems teeth on child can not be separated from the attitudes and the act of parents especially mothers as the person who most closely with child. This research aimed to find out the correlation of the knowledge and attitude of mother with the treatment of the health of teeth and mouth of student in 05 Sidanegra Elementary School. The type of the research was correlation analytical research. Data collection method used the interview with the questionnaire and observation with the number of samples 59 mothers by stratified random sampling. Data analysis used the test of Spearman Rank. The result of this research showed that most of 52.5% mother’s knowledge had less knowledge. More than half (57.6%) mother’s attitude did not support. 54.2% teeth and mouth health treatment of student was not god enough. There was significant correlation between the mother’s knowledge with the treatment of the health of teeth and mouth of School 05 Sidanegara elementary school (p = 0.000). There was the significant correlation between the knowledge with the mother’s attitude in the treatment of the health of teeth and mouth of student of Elementary School 05 Sidanegara (p=0.001). There was the significant correlation between the mother’s attitude with the treatment of the health of teeth and mouth of student of Elementary School 05 Sidanegara (p=0.000). Mother hopefully can follow education about the treatment of teeth, reading book, news paper or internet that discuss about the treatment of teeth. Puskesmas hopefully can give education to the parents of student related to the treatment of teeth and mouth. |
