| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penerimaan siswa baru pada kebanyakan Sekolah Menengah Atas belum menggunakan sistem online. Selain tidak efisien karena membutuhkan banyak biaya juga tidak efektif karena memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Oleh sebab itu dibuatlah Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Siswa Baru. Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Siswa Baru merupakan sarana yang dapat membantu calon siswa untuk dapat melakukan pendaftaran secara online tanpa harus dipersulit oleh kurangnya informasi yang didapat dari penerimaan calon siswa baru yang masih menggunakan sistem manual yang membuat pendaftar harus berbondong-bondong datang ke setiap sekolah yang diminati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall. Sistem ini dibangun dengan menggunakan Framework YII yang merupakan kerangka dari pemrograman PHP. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru yang memudahkan calon siswa untuk dapat melakukan pendaftaran dimanapun termasuk dari rumah sendiri tanpa harus datang langsung ke sekolah yang bersangkutan. Selain itu calon siswa juga diberikan informasi secara realtime oleh sistem ini dalam mendapatkan informasi sedang berada di peringkat berapakah calon siswa tersebut bersaing dengan calon siswa yang lain dan juga informasi mengenai peringkat akhir apakah calon siswa tersebut dinyatakan lulus atau tidak. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Admission of new student at most high school still has not using an online system. Not only it is not efficient because needs a lot of expense, but also it’s not effective because it’s time consuming. Based on that phenomenon, the researcher created New Student Admission Information System. New Student Admission Information System is a tool that can help prospective students to be able to register online without having complicated situation due to the lack of information obtained from the manual new student admission system that makes the registrant must come to their ideal school. The method that used in this research is the waterfall method. This system is developed using Yii Framework as a foundation of PHP programming. The result of this research is the new student admission information system that beneficially the prospective students to register anywhere, including from their own home without having to come directly to the related school. In addition, prospective students are also provided with information in real time by the system in getting information being ranked at how prospective students compete with other prospective students and also information regarding the final rankings whether the prospective student passed or not. |
