| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui konsumsi dan konversi pakan pada berbagai ayam sentul periode produksi. Materi yang digunakan terdiri atas 125 ekor ayam sentul yang terdiri atas lima jenis ayam Sentul di antaranya ayam Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, dan Sentul Geni. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan yaitu S_1=Sentul Abu, S_2=Sentul Batu, S_3=Sentul Debu, S_4=Sentul Emas, dan S_5=Sentul Geni. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi berbagai ayam Sentul menunjukan bahwa ayam sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan. Rataan konsumsi pakan selama lima minggu sebesar 3481,80 g/ekor. Rataan konversi pakan berdasarkan bobot telur selama lima minggu sebesar 6,19. Rataan konversi pakan berdasarkan pertambahan bobot badan selama dua bulan sebesar 12,71. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan berdasarkan bobot telur dan pertambahan bobot badan berbagai ayam sentul periode produksi memperoleh hasil yang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to determine consumption and feed conversion in variety of sentul chicken production period. The materials used were 125 sentul chickens consists of five types of sentul chicken, i. e. Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, and Sentul Geni. The research method was experimental using completely randomized design with treatments S_1 = Sentul Abu, S_2 = Sentul Batu, S_3 = Sentul Debu, S_4 = Sentul Emas, and S_5 = Sentul Geni. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance. Results of variance analysis showed that a variety of sentul chicken was not significant (P> 0.05) on consumption and feed conversion. The average feed consumption for five weeks was 3481.80 g/head. The average feed conversion based on the weight of the eggs for five weeks was 6,19. The average feed conversion is based on body weight gain for the two months was 12.71. it can be concluded that there was no difference in consumption and feed conversion of various sentul chicken production period. |
