| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | RINGKASAN Penelitian ini berjudul “Perbedaan abnormal return dan volume perdagangan saham sebelum dan setelah pengumuman Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award (ISRA) (studi kasus pengumuman ISRA 2013)”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang menerbitkan sustainability report. Sampel yang digunakan adalah Perusahaan go public yang terdaftar di BEI yang memenangkan penghargaan ISRA 2013. Dan diperoleh sebanyak 12 perusahaan pemenang ISRA 2013. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) terdapat abnormal return positif setelah hari pengumuman ISRA 2013, 2) terdapat perbedaan average abnormal return sebelum dan setelah pengumuman ISRA 2013, 3) terdapat perbedaan average trading volume activity sebelum dan setelah pengumuman ISRA 2013, analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one sample t-test dan analisis paired sample t-test dengan syarat lolos uji normalitas kolmogorof-smirnov. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat abnormal return positif setelah hari pengumuman ISRA 2013. Namun tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan abnormal return sebelum dan setelah pengumuman ISRA 2013 dan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan juga pada volume perdagangan saham sebelum dan setelah ISRA 2013. Sebagai implikasi, investor sebaiknya melengkapi informasi terkait pengumuman ISRA ini dengan informasi kondisi fundamental atau kinerja perusahaan karena informasi ISRA 2013 yang ada belum cukup kuat. Walaupun sudah adanya abnormal return positif, namun ini masih terlalu kecil untuk direspon oleh pasar. Sehingga belum cukup untuk mendukung keputusan investasi para investor. Selain itu, perusahaan yang memenangkan penghargaan tersebut untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan sehingga dapat menarik perhatian pihak investor untuk investasi di perusahaan tersebut. |

Inggris) | SUMMARY The tittle of this study is “Perbedaan abnormal return dan volume perdagangan saham sebelum dan setelah pengumuman Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award (ISRA) (studi kasus pengumuman ISRA 2013)”, the population are the company that publishes sustainability report and the sample are go public companies are listed on the stock exchange and winning ISRA 2013. and total of 12winning companies onISRA2013. The hypothesis are : 1) there is positive abnormal return after the announcement of ISRA 2013, 2) there are the differences of average abnormal return between after and before the announcement of ISRA 2013, 3) there are the differences of average trading volume activity between after and before the announcement of ISRA 2013. The analized on this study using one sample t-test and paired sample t-test analysis with classic asumption test is normality Kolmogorof-smirnov. The result states that there is positive abnormal return after the announcement of ISRA 2013, but there is no differences of average abnormal return between after and before announcement of ISRA 2013 and there is no differences of average trading volume activity between after and before announcement of ISRA 2013. As implication, investor should completing the information regarding this announcement of ISRA with information fundamental conditions or performance of the company because the information ISRA 2013 there its not strong enough. Although it has a positive abnormal return, but this is still too small to be responded by the market. So its not enough to support the investment decisions of investors. Beside that, the award-winning company to improve and to enhance the performance of the company to attract the attention of investors to invest in the company. |
