Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)The research was aimed to know 1) the effect of long gibberellin seed eggplant soaking on the growth; 2) the growth and production of NPK fertilizer on eggplant; 3) the interaction between of long gibberellin seed eggplant soaking and NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of eggplant. The research was carried out from June to October 2014 and implemented in the screen house the faculty of agriculture jenderal soedirman university Purwokerto at the height of the 110 meters above sea level (dpl ).This experiment used the Random Block Design (RAK) factorials 3 x 3 by 9 a combination of treatment and 3 replication.The first factor is the 3 levels long seed soaking with giberelin 500 ppm, include the following 1) T0 : 0 minute; 2) T1: 20 minute; 3) T2: 40 minute. The second factor is 3 level of NPK fertilizer NPK on eggplant (Solanum melongena L) i.e: 1) P1: 0,7 g/polybag; 2) P2: 1,4 g/polybag; 3) P3: 2,3 g/polybag. Observed variabels consist of; higher plants, the number of leaves, leaves area, trunk diameter, time of flowering, the weight of flowering, the number of fruit, the diameter of fruit, the weight of fruit, the volume of fruit, wet part by residual plant weight, part by residual plant dry weight. The results of research showed that the treatment long gibberellin seed soaking had not an in the growth and the production on all the variables. NPK fertilizer treatment of the production and plant growth of eggplant had not on all the variables. The interaction of the treatment long gibberellin seed soaking and fertilizer NPK fertilizer doses had an in with on the number of leaves, but no effect on the other variables.
