| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI TEPUNG KULIT BAWANG PUTIH DAN MINERAL ORGANIK PADA PAKAN TERHADAP KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH DAN BOBOT LAHIR PEDET SAPI PERAH |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi tepung kulit bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik (Se, Cr, Zn) terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan bobot lahir pedet sebagai produk alami pengganti rumensin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan ulangan sebanyak 7 kali. Perlakuan terdiri dari 3 macam perlakuan yaitu R0 = Pakan basal + Rumensin 0,3 gram/ekor, R1 = Pakan basal+ 30 ppm tepung kulit bawang putih/kg BK pakan, R2 = Pakan basal + 30 ppm tepung kulit bawang putih/kg BK pakan + mineral organik (Chromium 1,5 ppm + Selenium 0,3 ppm + Zinc lysinat 40 ppm)/kg Bk pakan. Peubah yang diukur adalah kadar glukosa darah dan bobot lahir pedet. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis variansi dilanjutkan dengan uji tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa suplementasi tepung kulit bawang putih dan mineral organik pada pakan berpengaruh nyata (P< 0,05) terhadap kadar glukosa darah. Hasil uji lanjut BNJ hubungan suplementasi tepung kulit bawang putih dan mineral organik pada pakan terhadap kadar glukosa darah menunjukkan bahwa pada perlakuan (R2) berbeda nyata terhadap perlakuan (R0), Sedangkan perlakuan (R1) tidak berbeda nyata dengan (R0). Kadar glukosa darah tertinggi pada R0 sebesar 68,85 mg/dl dan terendah pada R2 sebesar 58,28 mg/dl. Pada bobot lahir pedet berpengaruh tidak nyata (P> 0,05) dengan rataan 41,19 kg. Persamaan regresi antara kadar glukosa darah dengan bobot lahir pedet diperoleh persamaan Y= -0,1183x+48,873. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Suplementasi tepung kulit bawang putih dan mineral organik (Cr, Se dan Zn) pada pakan menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Semakin tinggi kadar glukosa darah yang dihasilkan, memberikan hasil yang tidak linear terhadap bobot lahir pedet. Kadar glukosa darah yang dihasilkan dari penelitiaan memberikan kontribusi hanya sebesar 4% terhadap bobot lahir pedet yang dihasilkan. Inggris) | ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals (Se, Cr, Zn) as a natural product replacement of rumensin supplementations on blood glucose levels and calf birth weight. The method used was experimental, by using completely randomized design with 7 replicates/treatment. The treatments consisted of three kinds of treatments R0 = Basal Feed Rumensin + 0.3 g / head, R1 = basal + 30 ppm garlic husk flour / kg DM feed, and R2 = + 30 ppm garlic husk flour / kg DM feed + organic minerals (Chromium 1.5 ppm + 0.3 ppm Selenium + Zinc lysinat 40 ppm) / kg feed DM. The parameters measured were blood glucose levels and calf birth weight. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Tukey test. The results showed that supplementation of garlic husk flour and organic minerals to the diet significantly (P <0.05) affected blood glucose levels. Further test results of HSD showed, garlic husk flour supplementation and organic minerals in feed showed that the (R2) treatment was significantly different to the (R0) treatments, while (R1) treatment was not significantly different to treatment (R0) in term of blood glucose levels. The results showed, blood glucose levels were highest in R0 (68.85 mg / dl) and the lowest was in R2 (58.28 mg / dl). The treatments did not give significant effect (P>0,05) on birth weight, with the mean value of 41,19 kg. The resulting regression equation is Y = -0,1183x + 48.873 . The conclusion of this study is. supplementation of garlic husk flour and organic minerals ( Cr , Se and Zn ) in feed, lowers blood glucose levels. The higher the blood glucose levels are generated , giving results that is not linear with respect to birth weight calves.
