| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “DAMPAK KENAIKAN TARIF TENAGA LISTRIK PADA SEKTOR INDUSTRI PENGOLAHAN DI JAWA TENGAH (TABEL INPUT-OUTPUT JAWA TENGAH 2008).” Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menganalisis keterkaitan ke belakang dan keterkaitan ke depan sektor industri pengolahan dengan sektor lainnya; (2) menganalisis dampak yang dihasilkan apabila terjadi kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik pada sektor industri pengolahan; dan (3) menganalisis keadaan nilai tambah bruto dan output setelah kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik pada sektor industri pengolahan terhadap perekonomian Jawa Tengah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik memberikan dampak yang negatif pada sektor industri pengolahan, dimana besarnya kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik dapat mengurangi jumlah output dan nilai tambah bruto pada masing-masing sub sektor industri pengolahan. Sub-sub sektor industri pengolahan yang rentan terhadap shock kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik adalah industri semen dan industri pengilangan minyak. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya pemerintah memantau sektor-sektor yang terkena dampak terbesar ketika terjadi kenaikan tarif tenaga listrik untuk melakukan efisiensi produksi dan penggunaan tenaga listrik. Kemudian, seharusnya pemerintah berupaya untuk mendapatkan energi terbarukan atau tenaga listrik alternatif dan mengoptimalkan teknologi yang telah dimiliki. Sebaiknya sebagai pelaku industri dapat meningkatkan produktivitasnya untuk meningkatkan biaya input. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The title of this research is “The Impact of Electricity Tariff Adjustment in Manufacturing Industries Sector in Central Java (Central Java Input-Output Table 2008)”. The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze backward and forward linkage among economic sectors, (2) to analyze the impact of the electricity tariff adjustment to manufacturing industry sector, and (3) to analyze the condition of gross value added and output after electricity tariff adjustment in manufacturing sector to Central Java economies. The results of this research indicate that the electricity tariff adjustment tends to give negative impact to manufacturing industry sector, where the electricity tariff adjustment will reduce output and gross value added for each sub sectors of manufacturing. The most vulnerable sector from electricity tariff adjustment is cement and oil refining industries. The implication of this research is that government should control the sectors which have the biggest impact from adjustment electricity tariff to make production and electricity consumption efficiently. Then, government should to develop the renewable energy or alternative electricity and optimize the current technology. Industry sector should to increase the productivity for input cost adjustment.
