| Judul Artikel | PENYEMBUHAN LUKA DIABETIKUM DENGAN WOUND VACUUM MODIFIKASI BREAST-PUMP MODE VPT 2 JAM |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar belakang: Wound Vacuum (WV) modifikasi breast pump mode continuous terbukti meningkatkan penyembuhan luka diabetikum tikus. Disisi lain mode Variable Pressure Therapy (VPT) diketahui memiliki efek penyembuhan luka yang lebih baik dibandingkan mode continuous. Namun, efektivitas WV modifikasi breast pump mode VPT belum pernah diuji sebelumnya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penyembuhan luka diabetikum dengan WV modifikasi breast pump mode VPT selama 2 jam. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen murni. Tikus yang diinduksi alloxan dilukai dan diberi tekanan negatif 100 mmHg selama 1 jam dilanjutkan dengan 85 mmHg selama 1 jam (kelompok perlakuan); sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberi tekanan negatif. Luka tikus diamati secara makroskopis hingga hari ke-7 kemudian tikus dikorbankan. Jaringan tikus diproses menjadi preparat menggunakan pewarnaan Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) untuk diamati secara mikroskopis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil: Pada hari ke-7 ukuran kelompok kontrol lebih kecil dibandingkan kelompok perlakuan. Edema, kemerahan, dan jaringan nekrotik terlihat lebih jelas dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Pengamatan mikroskopis menunjukkan sel inflamasi kelompok perlakuan lebih banyak. Sedangkan reepitelisasi lebih sedikit dibanding kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan: Wound Vacuum modifikasi breast pump mode VPT selama 2 jam kurang efektif untuk penyembuhan luka diabetikum. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Wound Vacuum (WV) modified breast-pump continuous-mode shown to improve wound healing of diabetic rats. While mode Variable Pressure Therapy (VPT) is known to have wound healing effect better than the continuous-mode. However, the effectiveness of WV modified breast pump with VPT-mode has not been tested before. Objective: This research aimed to describe the diabetic wound healing with a modified breast pump which is WV by VPT-mode for 2 hours. Methods: This research used true experiment. Alloxan-induced rat wounded and given the negative pressure of 100 mmHg for 1 hour followed by 85 mmHg for 1 hour (treatment group); whereas the control group was not given a negative pressure. Wound rat were observed macroscopically for seven days and then the rat were sacrificed. The rat tissue processed into preparations using Hematoxylin-Eosin staining (HE) to be observed microscopically. Data were analyzed descriptively. Results: At day 7 the size of the control group is smaller than the treatment group. Edema, redness, and necrotic tissue show up more clearly than the control group. Microscopic observations showed inflammatory cell treatment group more. While re-epithelialization less than the control group. Conclusion: Wound Vacuum modified breast pump VPT-mode for 2 hours less effective for diabetic wound healing. |
