| Judul Artikel | UJI EMPAT SUBSTRAT CAIR ORGANIK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EMPAT ISOLAT Trichoderma sp. DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL MENTIMUN |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penggunaan beberapa jenis substrat cair organik terhadap perkembangan empat isolat Trichoderma sp., (2) jenis substrat cair organik yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan isolat Trichoderma sp, (3) pengaruh pemberian substrat cair organik hasil pendekomposan oleh jamur Trichoderma sp. terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan Rumah Plastik, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian berlangsung mulai dari bulan April 2014 sampai dengan Agustus 2014. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 20 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol, substrat limbah cair tahu, air cucian beras, air kelapa, dan limbah tapioka masing-masing dengan kombinasi empat isolat Trichoderma sp. Variabel yang diamati meliputi kepadatan konidium selama pendekomposan, kepadatan akhir konidium, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, saat berbunga pertama, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan bobot buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian isolat Trichoderma sp. pendekomposan limbah cair organik mempercepat pendekomposan limbah cair. Substrat cair organik yang digunakan untuk medium pertumbuhan Trichoderma sp. memberikan variasi pertumbuhan yang berbeda pada tiap isolat. Isolat nenas pada substrat air cucian beras mampu mencapai kepadatan maksimum pertumbuhan konidiumnya dibandingkan isolat lain, yaitu peningkatan kepadatan konidium sebesar 35,03%. Trichoderma sp. isolat pisang pada substrat limbah cair tahu dan air cucian beras menunjukkan kepadatan akhir konidium tertinggi masing-masing 63,00 x 106 dan 62,50 x 106 konidium/mL. Trichoderma sp. isolat pisang mampu tumbuh dan berkembang di semua substrat cair organik yang diuji, dengan peningkatan kepadatan pada substrat limbah cair tahu, air cucian beras, air kelapa, dan limbah cair tapioka masing-masing sebesar 15,57; 26,77; 24,72; dan 23,47%. Substrat cair organik hasil pendekomposan Trichoderma sp. memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, dengan peningkatan bobot tanaman segar, bobot akar segar, dan tinggi tanaman masing-masing 7,30; 46,42; dan 11,33%. Substrat cair organik hasil dekomposisi Trichoderma sp. tidak memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap hasil tanaman mentimun. |

Inggris) | The aims of this research were to determine (1) the effect of several organic liquid substrates use on the substrate decomposted by four isolate Trichoderma sp., (2) the best organic liquid substrate for the growth of isolates and (3) the effect of the organic liquid substrate decomposted by Trichoderma sp. on the growth and yield of cucumber. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and Plastic house, the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, from April 2014 to August 2014. The research using RBD (randomized block design) with 20 treatments, i. e. control of tofu liquid waste; rice washing water; coconut water; tapioca liquid waste; respectively decomposted by four isolates of Trichoderma sp. and 3 replicates. Variable observed was root length, root fresh and dry weight, plant length, number of leaves, number of flowers, crop fresh and dry weight, and fruit weight. Results of the researsh showed that Trichoderma sp. addition fastened the organic substrate decomposition. Liquid organis substrate used as media for growth of Trichoderma sp. gave different variations on the growth of each isolate. Pineapple isolate on rice washing water substrate could be able to reach maximum growth of the conidia density compare to other isolates, as 35.03%. conidia densities. Trichoderma sp. banana isolates added into the tofu liquid waste and rice washing water showed the higher late conidia densitiy as 63.00 x 106 and 62.50 x 106 conidia / mL, respectively, Trichoderma sp. banana isolate could be able to grow and develop in all substrates tested with increasing conidia density in the tofu liquid waste, rice washing water, coconut water, and tapioca liquid waste, respectively as 15.57; 26.77; 24.72; and 23.47%. The liquid organic substrate decomposted by all Trichoderma sp. isolates showed significant effect on crop fresh weight, root fresh weight, and crop height as 7.30; 46.42; and 11.33% respectively. Liquid organic substrate decomposted by Trichoderma sp. isolates did not give different effect on the cucumber yield. |
