Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bobot dan persentase daging dan tulang dalam karkas berbagai ayam Sentul jantan umur delapan minggu.Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ayam Sentul jantan umur sehari terdiri atas ayam Sentul Abu, ayam Sentul Batu, ayam Sentul Debu, ayam Sentul Emas, ayam Sentul Geni.Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri atas ayam Sentul Abu, ayam Sentul Batu, ayam Sentul Debu, ayam Sentul Emas dan ayam Sentul Geni. Setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas 10 ekor.Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot dan persentase daging dan bobot dan persentase tulang.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi.Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai ayam Sentul jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas dan berbagai ayam Sentul jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase tulang dalam karkas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa berbagai ayam Sentul jantan tidak menyebabkan perbedaan terhadap bobot dan persentase daging dan tulang dalam karkas.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The purpose of the experiment was to study the differences of mortality and heterophile/lymphocyte ratio of various male Sentul chicken of starter period. The materials used in the research was day-old chicks of male Sentul chicken, consisted of Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, and Sentul Geni. This research was conducted by experimental method and used Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments were Sentul chickens consisted of Sentul Abu chicken, Sentul Batu chicken, Sentul Debu chicken, Sentul Emas chicken and Sentul Geni chicken. Each treatment was repeated five times, each experiment units consisted of eight birds. Each treatment was repeated five times, each experiment unit consisted of ten birds. Variables measured were weight and percentage of bone and meat in the carcass. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance. The results of analysis of variance showed that various male sentul chicken not significant (P>0.05) effect on the weight and percentage of meat and variance showed that various male sentul chicken not significant (P>0.05) on the weight and percentage of bone.The results of this study cocludes that of chicken Sentul does not cause differences of the weights and percentage of meat and bones in the carcass.
