Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Di berbagai negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia, para petani pisang mempunyai kendala dalam memasok komoditas pisang yang mempunyai mutu seragam. Hal tersebut dikarenakan belum adanya alat yang mampu digunakan untuk mengevaluasi mutu komoditas pisang secara baik dan menghasilkan data secara akurat, meskipun ada maka harganya tidak terjangkau oleh para petani pisang di Indonesia. Karena keterbatasan finansial tersebut, perlu diciptakan teknologi pendeteksi mutu buah dengan menggunakan komponen dengan harga yang terjangkau, mudah dalam penggunaannya dan mempunyai hasil yang akurat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik luaran sensor LDR terhadap indikator mutu buah (kekerasan, total padatan terlarut, warna) dan membuat persamaan matematis hubungan luaran sensor LDR terhadap indikator mutu buah.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Teknologi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan juni sampai juli 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non destruktif dan destruktif dengan tiga perlakuan awal yaitu perlakuan utuh, impact, pressure. Variabel yang dimati dalam penelitian ini meliputi respon sensor, kekerasan, total padatan terlarut, warna dan uji organoleptik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat Rapid Quality Detector (Prototype III) dapat merespon perubahan kematangan buah pisang terhadap indikator mutu buah. Hubungan respon sensor dengan kekerasan didapatkan persamaan yaitu perlakuan utuh yu = -681.4x2 + 169.6x + 2.066, denganR² = 0.999, perlakuan impact yi = -223.9x2 + 47.84x + 9.258, dengan R2 = 0.999, dan perlakuan pressure yp = 437.7x2 - 252.1x + 43.24, dengan R2 = 0.998. Sehingga respon sensor berpengaruh terhadap kekerasan buah pisang. Hubungan respon sensor dengan total padatan terlarut didapatkan persamaan yaitu perlakuan utuh yu = 0,051x2 – 1,199x + 12,66, dengan R2 = 0.634, perlakuan impact yi = -0,003x2 – 1,350x + 11,96, dengan R2 = 0.833, dan perlakuan pressure yp = -0,094x2 – 1,259x + 11,04, dengan R2 = 0.724. Sehingga respon sensor berpengaruh terhadap total padatan terlarut buah pisang. Hubungan perubahan warna terhadap respon sensor didapatkan persamaan yaitu perlakuan utuh yL = -5547.x2 + 1693.x - 55.01, dengan R2 = 0.875, ya = 688.9x2 - 195.2x + 22.85, dengan R2 = 0.294, dan yb = -4200.x2 + 1226.x - 37.94, dengan R2 = 0.925. Perlakuan Impact yL = -469.9x2 + 78.61x + 65.23, Dengan R2 = 0.852, ya = 9.059x2 + 15.47x + 7.7, dengan R2 = 0.963, dan yb = -250.7x2 + 4.424x + 48.76, dengan R2 = 0.715. Perlakuan Pressure yL = 110.3x2 - 94.31x + 84.41, dengan R2 = 0.944, ya = -201.6x2 + 138.9x - 11.25, dengan R2 = 0.992, dan yb = -218.3x2 + 100.6x + 36.69, dengan R2 = 0.813. Sehingga respon sensor berpengaruh terhadap perubahan parameter warna buah pisang. Ambang batas penerimaan konsumen adalah pada nilai OD sebesar 0,310.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)In many developing countries including Indonesia, the banana growers have constraints in the supply of commodities bananas which have uniform quality. This is due to the lack of tools that can be used to evaluate the quality of bananas in both commodities and produce accurate data, although there is then the price is not affordable by the banana growers in Indonesia. Due to financial constraints, the need to create fruit quality detection technology using components with reasonable price, easy to use and have accurate results. The aims of this study are to find out the characteristics of LDR censor outputs toward the changing of fruit quality indicators and to create mathematical equations of LDR censor outputs toward fruit quality indicators.
This research was conducted at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. This study was done on Juni until Juli 2013. This research also use non-destructive and destructive methods with three pre- treatments, they are intact, impact, and pressure. The variables that are observed in this study include of the censor response, hardness, total solid matter soluble, color and organoleptic tests.
Result of this research shows that the Rapid Quality Detector (Prototype III) tool can respond the changing of overripe banana gold toward fruit quality indicators. The correlation of censor response with hardness is obtained by the equations, they are intact treatment yu = -681.4x2 + 169.6x + 2.066, with value of R² = 0.999, impact treatment yi = -223.9x2 + 47.84x + 9.258, with value ofR2 = 0.999, and pressure treatment yp = 437.7x2 - 252.1x + 43.24, with value of R2 = 0.998, so the censor response influences banana hardness, besides, correlation of censor response with total solid matter soluble obtained by the equations, they are intact treatment yu = 0,051x2 – 1,199x + 12,66, with value of R2 = 0.634, impact treatment yi = -0,003x2 – 1,350x + 11,96, with value of R2 = 0.833, and pressure treatment yp = -0,094x2 – 1,259x + 11,04, with value of R2 = 0.724, thus the censor response influences toward total solid matter soluble of banana fruit. In addition, the correlation of changing color toward censor response is obtained several equations, such as intact treatment yL = -5547.x2 + 1693.x - 55.01, with value of R2 = 0.875, ya = 688.9x2 - 195.2x + 22.85, with value of R2 = 0.294, dan yb = -4200.x2 + 1226.x - 37.94, with value of R2 = 0.925. Impact Treatment yL = -469.9x2 + 78.61x + 65.23, with value of R2 = 0.852, ya = 9.059x2 + 15.47x + 7.7, with value of R2 = 0.963, dan yb = -250.7x2 + 4.424x + 48.76, with value of R2 = 0.715 Pressure Treatment yL = 110.3x2 - 94.31x + 84.41, with value of R2 = 0.944, ya = -201.6x2 + 138.9x - 11.25, with value of R2 = 0.992, dan yb = -218.3x2 + 100.6x + 36.69, with value of R2 = 0.813. Therefore, the censor response influences toward the changing parameters of banana fruit color, and the threshold of consumer acceptance is at the OD value as big as 0.310.
