| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi fitobiotik dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan bobot badan itik hibrida jantan. Penelitian menggunakan itik hibrida jantan 128 ekor umur sehari. Pakan yang diberikan pada umur 1-14 hari yaitu BR1. Umur 2-10 minggu diberikan pakan basal yang terdiri atas campuran jagung giling 45%, dedak padi 34%, bungkil kedelai 12%, tepung ikan 8%, premik 1% dan fitobiotik berupa tepung bawang putih, jahe, kunyit dan kencur. Metode penelitian eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan suplementasi fitobiotik dalam pakan basal terdiri atas P0 = 0% (kontrol), P1 = 1% bawang putih, P2 = 1% jahe, P3 = 1% kunyit, P4 = 1% kencur, P5 = 0,5% bawang putih + 0,5% jahe, P6 = 0,5% bawang putih + 0,5% kunyit dan P7 = 0,5% bawang putih + kencur 0,5%. Peubah yang diamati laju pertumbuhan absolut, laju pertumbuhan relatif, dan bobot badan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan absolut dan relatif, berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot badan itik hibrida umur 10 minggu. Bobot tertinggi terdapat pada suplementasi bawang putih. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah suplementasi bawang putih dalam pakan meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan bobot badan itik hibrida jantan umur 10 minggu.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research aimed to study the effect of supplementation phytobiotic in feed on the growth and body weight of hybrid male ducks. The research used DOD 128 male hybrid ducks. Feed that was given at the age of 1-14 day was BR1, aged 2-10 weeks used a feed mixture of 45% corn flour, 34% rice bran, 12% soybean meal,8% fish meal, 1% premix and garlic, ginger, turmeric and white tumeric powder. The raeserch used experiment method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment was supplementation of phytobiotic in basal feed consisted of P0 = 0% (Control), P1 = 1% of garlic, P2 = 1 % of ginger, P3 = 1 % of saffron, P4 = 1 % greater galingale, P5 = 0,5% of garlic + 0,5% of ginger, P6 = 0,5% of garlic + 0,5% turmeric and P7 = 0,5% of garlic + 0,5% greater galingale. The measured variable were absolute growth rate, relative growth rate, and body weight. The data observed was analyzed by analysis of variance and continued with Honestly Significant Difference test (HSD). The results showed that the treatment effect was not significant (P >0.05) on absolute and relative growth, but had significant effect (P<0,05) on body weight of hybrid ducks at 10 weeks old. The highest weight was from garlic. The conclusion of this research was that supplementation of 1 % of garlic powder in basal feed could be used to increase body weight of male hybrid duck.
