| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Daphnia sp. merupakan zooplankton dari family Daphnidae, berpotensi sebagai pakan alami larva ikan. Makanan Daphnia sp. adalah fitoplankton, detritus dan bakteri. Fermentasi limbah sayur kubis adalah bahan organik yang dimungkinkan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh Daphnia sp.. Penelitian menggunakan wadah bervolume 2 L, padat tebar 20 ind/l dan dilakukan 14 hari di Fakultas Biologi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh hasil fermentasi limbah sayur kubis terhadap kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp. dan dosis hasil fermentasi limbah sayur kubis yang menghasilkan kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp. tertinggi. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan berupa dosis hasil fermentasi limbah sayur kubis 0 ml/l, 1 ml/l, 2 ml/l dan 3 ml/l, menggunakan teknik Daily feeding. Parameter utama yang diamati berupa kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp serta parameter pendukung fisika-kimia air yaitu temperatur dan pH media kultur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada hari ke 12, dosis 0 ml/l menghasilkan rata-rata kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp.: 1.362,5 ind/l, 1 ml/l: 1.775 ind/l, 2ml/l: 3.087,5 ind/l, dan 3 ml/l: 8.212,5 ind/l. Pemberian hasil fermentasi limbah sayur kubis pada media kultur Daphnia sp, berpengaruh positif terhadap kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp.. Kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp tertinggi, diperoleh dengan pemberian fermentasi limbah sayur kubis sebanyak 3 ml/l. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Daphnia sp. is a zooplankton of Daphnidae’s family which has potentially as a natural food for fish larvae. Daphnia sp. fed phitoplankton, detritus and bacteria. Cabbage waste fermented is an organic material that is possible to used by Daphnia sp. The experiment was done using 2 L container with stocking density of 20 ind/l for 14 days rearing in the Faculty of Biology, Jenderal Soedirman University. The objective of this experiment were knowing the effect of cabbage waste fermented to the population density of Daphnia sp. and cabbage waste fermented dose which produce the highest population density of Daphnia sp. The experiment used an experimental method with randomized completely design (RCD). The treatment were cabbage wastes fermented doses: 0 ml/l, 1 ml/l, 2 ml/l and 3 ml/l, used technique of daily feeding. The main parameter that observed was the population densitiy of Daphnia sp. Temperature and pH of the culture medium were analysed as supporting physical-chemical of water . The results showed that on D.12, a dose of 0 ml/l gave an average population density of Daphnia sp. : 1362.5 ind/l, 1 ml/l: 1775 ind/l, 2 ml/l: 3087.5 ind/l, and 3 ml/l: 8212.5 ind / l. Application of cabbage waste fermented on Daphnia sp. culture media, gave positive affect to the population density of Daphnia sp. The highest population density of Daphnia sp. was obtained by 3 ml/l dose of cabbage waste fermentation. |
