| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstrak Sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan tanaman sayuran yang pada dasarnya tumbuh di daerah iklim sub-tropis, tetapi mampu beradaptasi dengan baik pada iklim tropis. Sawi hijau selain mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi, mengandung pula berbagai khasiat bagi kesehatan. Indonesia ditinjau dari aspek klimatologis, aspek teknis, aspek ekonomis dan aspek sosial memiliki kelayakan dalam budidaya sawi hijau. Produksi sawi hijau dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan jenis dan dosis pupuk organik cair (POC) agar didapatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui jenis pupuk organik cair yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau, (2) mengetahui dosis pupuk organik cair yang optimum terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau, (3) mengetahui interaksi antara jenis dan dosis POC terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Penelitian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Desa Karangwangkal Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama ± 4 bulan, mulai bulan Mei 2014 sampai dengan Agustus 2014. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL), dengan tiga kali ulangan yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah jenis pupuk organik cair yaitu : POC Super Bionik (F1), POC Nasa (F2) dan POC herbafarm (F3). Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk organik cair meliputi 20 ml/tanaman (D1), 30 ml/tanaman (D2) ,dan 40 ml/tanaman (D3) . Variabel pengamatan yaitu : jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar tajuk, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, rasio akar tajuk, dan volume akar. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan korelasi regresi pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jenis pupuk organik cair yang terbaik adalah Herbafarm, sedangkan dosis yang tepat adalah 40 ml/tanaman, dan terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan jenis POC dengan dosis POC terhadap bobot kering akar dan volume akar. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Abstract Mustard Greens (Brassica juncea L.) is the variant of vegetable that grows in subtropical area, but it be able to adapt in tropical area well. Mustard Greens has high economical rate and also contain special characteristic for our health. Indonesia is one of the appropriate area to cultivate this plant with some consideration of some aspects like, climatological aspect, technical aspect, economical aspect, and social aspect. The production of Mustard Greens can be increased by using “Liquid Organic Fertilizer” (LOF) with the suitable variant and dosage to get an optimum result. The purposes of this research are: (1) to know the suitable POC variant regarding with the growth and result of Mustard Greens, (2) to know the specify dose of POC to get the best result of Mustard Greens plantation, (3) to know the interaction between variant and dose of POC regarding with the growth and result of Mustard Greens. This research was conducted in the research field of Agricultural Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, North Purwokerto, Banyumas. This research was conducted during ± 4 months, from May 2014 until August 2014. This research used “Randomized Complete Block Design” (RCBD), with three times repetition that consisted of 2 factors. The first factor is the variant of POC including the POC Super Bionic (F1), POC Nasa (F2), and POC Herbafarm (F3). The second factor is the dosage of POC including 20 ml/plant (D1), 30ml/plant (D2), and 40 ml/plant (D3). The variable of observation if this research are amount of leave, height, size of leave, weight of fresh plant, weight of fresh crown, weight of dry plant, weight of dry crown, weight of dry root, ratio of root crown, and root volume. The analysis of observation data result used F test, if there is an influence of the treatment it’s continue with correlation regression on 5% of error rank. Result of the research shows that the best variant of POC is Herbafarm regarding with the weight fresh plant variable, while the suitable dosage of this POC is 40 ml/plant toward almost all of the variable except, amount of leave, and there is an interaction between the treatment of POC variant and the dosage of POC toward weight dry root variable and root volume. |
