| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Variabel Yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Jeruk Ponkam Impor Di Kota Purwokerto”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh variabel harga jeruk Ponkam impor, pendapatan keluarga, harga jeruk Jember lokal terhadap permintaan jeruk Ponkam impor dan mengetahui elastisitas permintaan jeruk Ponkam impor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini konsumen jeruk di Kota Purwokerto dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental random sampling dengan jumlah 100 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui harga jeruk Ponkam impor, pendapatan keluarga dan harga jeruk Jember lokal secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan jeruk Ponkam impor di Purwokerto. Secara parsial, variabel pendapatan keluarga dan harga jeruk Jember lokal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap permintaan jeruk Ponkam impor, sedangkan variabel harga jeruk Ponkam impor mempunyai pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap permintaan jeruk Ponkam impor. Implikasi penelitian yaitu pedagang dapat menerapkan strategi persaingan harga apabila ingin meningkatkan omzet penjualan jeruk lokal. Untuk konsumen membeli jeruk lokal, selain karena jeruk lokal mempunyai harga yang lebih murah juga membantu kehidupan petani lokal. Sebaliknya pedagang menetapkan markup harga tidak terlalu besar sehingga harga jeruk impor masih terjangkau oleh pendapatan penduduk. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research was entitled “Analysis Variables Influence Demand of Imported Ponkam Orange in Purwokerto”. The purposes of the research were to know the effect of price of imported Ponkam orange, family income, price of Jember local orange on the demand for imported Ponkam orange and to know the elasticity of demand for imported Ponkam orange. This resaerch was carried out using survey method. The population in this research was the customers of orange in Purwokerto and the sampling technique used was accidental random sampling with 100 respondents. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research, it can be known that the price of imported Ponkam orange, family income and the price of Jember local orange simultaneously had significant effect on the demand for the imprted Ponkam orange in Purwokerto. Partially, variables of family income and the price of Jember local orange had positive and significant effect on the demand of imported Ponkam orange, meanwhile the variable of price of imported Ponkam orange had negative and significant effect on the demand for imported Ponkam orange. The implication of the research is that the seller can apply price competition strategy if they want to increase sales revenue of local orange. Customers should buy local orange to help local farmers. Otherwise, the seller should mark up the price in low amount so that the price of imported orange can still be affordable. |
