| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamik pengobatan kanker dengan kemoterapi yang dimodelkan dengan penerapan masalah kendali optimal. Fungsi objektif kuadratik dari kemoterapi diminimumkan dengan syarat mengikuti lintasan dari variabel keadaan pada model. Model mempunyai dua titik kesetimbangan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kendali optimal, efektif dalam meminimumkan populasi sel kanker dan efek samping kemoterapi. Kondisi awal populasi sel kanker berpengaruh dalam pemilihan strategi pemberian obat. Semakin tinggi stadium penderita kanker, semakin banyak obat yang dibutuhkan. Hal ini menyebabkan resiko efek samping kemoterapi menjadi lebih besar. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | In this study, the dynamic of cancer treatment with chemotherapy is modelled by an optimal control problem. A quadratic objective function of chemotherapy is minimized subject to trajectory of the cancer states. The model has two equilibrium points. The simulation results show that controlling drug treatment chemotherapy is effective in minimizing the cancer cell population and the side effects of chemotherapy. The initial state of the cancer cell population has an effect on the drug treatment strategies. The higher stage of cancer, the more drug required. This leads to the risk of chemotherapy side effects becomes greater. |
