Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk: (1) memprediksi besarnya erosi dipercepat (2) mengetahui tingkat bahaya erosi  (TBE), dan (3) merencanakan tindakan konservasi lahan yang sesuai dengan biogeofisik wilayah, telah dilakukan di  Kecamatan Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes pada tahun 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei, dengan teknik sampling menggunakan pendekatan Satuan Lahan Homogen (SLH). Prediksi besarnya erosi dipercepat (A) dilakukan dengan metode Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), Tingkat Bahaya Erosi (TBE) dihitung yaitu dengan membandingkan besarnya erosi potensial dengan nilai toleransi erosi yang diperbolehkan (T), dan perencanaan pertanian konservasi dilakukan dengan menghitung faktor tindakan konservasi (CP). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa besarnya erosi dipercepat di sebagian besar wilayah Kecamatan Bumiayu sebesar 852,48 ton/ha/th, TBE sebesar 563,49 ton/ha/th, nilai T sebesar 3,48 ton/ha/th, dan besarnya faktor CP adalah 0,014 dan 0,007. Untuk itu arahan tindakan konservasi yang paling tepat untuk penggunaan lahan adalah penanaman bergilir dengan menggunakan mulsa alami dan penggunaan teras bangku sebagai tindakan konservasinya.

This research was aimed:  (1) to predict the actual erosion that occurred (2) to determine the level of hazard erosion that occurred, and (3) Plan the act of conservation land that is appropriate with biogeofisik areas, has been done in the district of brebes bumiayu sub-district in 2014. This research method used is the method of survey sampling techniques, the use of a homogeneous land units approach. Soil sampling was carried out based on a homogeneous land units. The prediction of the accelerated erosion (A) done with a method of Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) the level of hazard of erosion (TBE) calculated that is by comparing a value of tolerance erosion allowed (T) agriculture conservation and planning by counting a factor of the act of conservation (CP). The cover-management and support practice factor (CP), and the value T. Erosion prediction with USLE and TBE method, then compared against the tolerance value erosion. The result showed that the erosion of accelerating the most sub-districts bumiayu is 852,48 ton/ha/year, TBE is 563,49 ton/ha/year, value T 3.48 ton/ha/year, and the CP factors is 0,014 and 0,007. Therefore, the most accurate directions for using the land is planted alternately with natural mulch and the bench terrace as a conservation action.
