PENGARUH BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TIGA VARIETAS BAYAM (Amaranthus tricolor L) SECARA HIDROPONIK RAKIT APUNG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui varietas bayam yang paling responsif terhadap aplikasi pupuk organik cair secara hidroponik, (2) Mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik cair yang optimal terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam secara hidroponik, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara konsentrasi pupuk organik cair dengan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam secara hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada ketinggian tempat ± 110 m dpl pada bulan Maret 2014 – Juni 2014. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan pola faktorial. Faktor yang dicoba meliputi varietas bayam (V) dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (P). Varietas yang digunakan yaitu varietas Maestro (V1), varietas Mira (V2), dan varietas Tahta (V3). Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair yang digunakan yaitu 5 ml/L (P1), 10 ml/L (P2), dan 15 ml/L (P3). Kombinasi perlakuan yang diperoleh sebanyak 9 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang tiga kali. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah helai daun, luas daun, volume akar, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, bobot tajuk segar, dan bobot tajuk kering. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) pada taraf kesalahan 5%, serta untuk mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik cair yang optimal dilakukan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan tiga varietas bayam memberikan respon pada variabel tinggi tanaman dan jumlah helai daun. Varietas yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik adalah varietas Tahta. Pemberian pupuk organik cair berpengaruh terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman dengan konsentrasi optimal 11,56 ml/L dan tingginya adalah 25,84 cm. Tidak terjadi interaksi antara penggunaan pupuk organik cair dengan varietas bayam.

Spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is leaf vegetables that have high nutrition and loved by all levels of society, but in recent years production has decreased. Spinach cultivation can be done with the technology of hydroponics that uses a liquid organic fertilizer. Hydroponics is one of the alternatives that can be used to increase crop productivity. The use of liquid organic fertilizer is expected to create a health food. The purpose of this research is: (1) to know the spinach varieties are the most responsive to the liquid organic fertilizer application in hydroponics, (2) to know the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer optimal on growth and yield of spinach in hydroponics, (3) to know the effect of the interaction between the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer with varieties on growth and yield of spinach in hydroponics. The research was conducted in the screen house at the Faculty of Agriculture University of Jendral Soedirman with altitude of approximately 110 meters above sea level in March through June 2014. The experimental design in this research was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial pattern. Factors tested were composed of spinach varieties (V) and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (P). The varieties used were variety of Maestro (V1), variety of Mira (V2) and variety of Tahta (V3). The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer used were 5 ml/L (P1), 10 ml/L (P2), and 15 ml/L (P3). Combination treatment gained as many as 9 combination treatments were repeated three times. Observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root volume, root fresh weight, root dry weight, fresh weight of upper plant, and dry weight of upper plant. The data were analyzed using the F test, if there was a treatment effect followed by DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%, and to know the optimal concentration of the liquid organic fertilizer was done regression analysis. The experimental result showed that the use of three varieties of spinach influenced on plant height and number of leaves. Variety that showed best results was variety of Tahta. Application of liquid organic fertilizer affected on plant height with an optimal concentration of 11.56 ml/L and the height was 25.84 cm. There was no interaction between liquid organic fertilizer and the use varieties of spinach.
