Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui tingkat efisiensi usaha KUD “ARIS” ditinjau dari rentabilitas ekonomi, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh volume usaha, partisipasi anggota dan banyaknya mitra usaha terhadap efisiensi yang dicapai oleh unit usaha pertanian KUD “ARIS”. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei sampai dengan Juni 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis rentabilitas ekonomi; analisis trend; dan analisis regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha KUD “ARIS” selama lima tahun (2009-2013) efisien dengan rata-rata nilai rentabilitas ekonomi sebesar 9,15 persen. Rata-rata rentabilitas ekonomi unit usaha Sarana Produksi 6,26 persen; Pangan 6,29 persen; Distributor Pupuk 0,95 persen; Rice Mill 6,08 persen; Swalayan 9,09 persen; waserda 9,26 persen; PPOB 7,87 persen; Simpan Pinjam 7,65 persen; dan Warnet 9,28 persen. Volume usaha berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi unit usaha Sarana Produksi, unit usaha Pangan, unit usaha Rice Mill dan unit usaha Distributor Pupuk. Partisipasi anggota berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi unit usaha Sarana Produksi, dan unit usaha Distributor Pupuk. Serta mitra usaha berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi unit usaha Sarana Produksi, unit usaha Pangan, dan unit usaha Rice Mill.

This research was aimed to (1) Know the level efficiency KUD”ARIS” in terms of economic rentability, (2) Know the effect of the volume of business, the participation of many members and business partners to the economic efficency that is achieved by the agricultural cooperatives business unit of KUD “ARIS”. The research was held on May to June 2014. The research method used is case study method. The analysis method used the analysis of the economic rentability; trend analysis; and multiple linear regression analysis.
The result of this research showed that the business of KUD “ARIS” for five years (2009-2013) is clarified efficiently with an average of  9,15 percent economic rentability. The average economic rentability of business unit Sarana Produksi 6,26 percent; Pangan 6,29 percent; Distributor Pupuk 0,95 percent; Rice mill 6,08 percent; Swalayan 9,09 percent; Waserda 9,26 percent; PPOB 7,87 percent; Simpan pinjam 7,65 percent; and Warnet 9,28 percent. The volume of business is affect the efficiency of the Sarana Produksi business, the Pangan business, the Rice Mill business, and the Distributor Pupuk business. The members participation is affect the efficiency of the Sarana Produksi business, and the Distributor Pupuk business. Then business partners is affect the efficiency of the Sarana Produksi business, the Pangan business, and the Rice Mill business.
