PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI DAUN KATUK DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP NILAI PROTEIN PLASMA DAN HEMATOKRIT KELINCI REX

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan suplementasi daun katuk dalam ransum terhadap nilai protein plasma dan hematokrit kelinci rex. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitaan ini adalah kelinci rex berjumlah 18 ekor. Pakan tersusun atas rumput alam 11 %, jagung giling 14 %, dedak 16 %, bungkil kelapa 27 %, pollard 29 %, molasses 2,6 %, dan mineral mix 0,4 %. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental, rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diulang 6 kali, sehingga terdapat 18 percobaan yaitu K0: pakan tanpa penambahan daun katuk, K1: pakan ditambah 5 % daun katuk, K2: pakan ditambah 10 % daun katuk. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis covariansi dan dilanjutkan uji Orthogonal Polynomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai protein plasma berkisar antara 6,58 sampai dengan 7,03 g/dl dan rata-rata nilai hematokrit 32,25 % sampai 35,98 %. Hasil analisis covariansi menunjukan bahwa penambahan daun katuk berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap nilai protein plasma, dan terhadap nilai hematokrit berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) dan berpengaruh secara linier dengan persamaan Y = 35.222 - 0.2933x koefisien determinasi (r2) =0,1557. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan suplementasi daun katuk tidak mempengruhi nilai protein plasma, dan berpengaruh terhadap nilai hematokrit kelinci rex.

The purpose of this study was to know the supplementation effect of Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr leaves in the ration protein plasma and hematocrit rex rabbit. The materials used in this study were 18 rex rabbit tails. The feed consisted of 11% natural grass, 14% corn flour, 16% bran, 27% coconut meal, 29% pollard, 2.6% molasses, and 0.4% mineral mix . The experimental research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments, each treatment was repeated six times, so there were 18 experiments which were K0: diet without Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr leaves, K1: diet plus 5% Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr leaves, K2: diet plus 10% Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr leaves. The Data were analyzed by using analysis of covariance and continued with Orthogonal Polynomial Test. The results showed that the average level of protein plasma ranged from 6.58 to 7.03 g/dl and the average level of hematocrit ranged 32.25% to 35.98%. The results showed analysis of covariance that the addition of Sauropus androgynus leaves had no significant effect (P> 0.05) to the value of protein plasma, and had significant effect on hematocrit values (P <0.05) and linearly effecting with the equation Y = 35 222 - 0.2933x, the coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.1557. The conclusion of this study were supplementation effect of Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr leaves had no effect to protein plasma value, and had an effect on hematocrit value rex rabbit.
