Uji Kemempanan Isolat Trichoderma sp. Terhadap Nematoda Puru Akar Tomat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp.dan kombinasinya dalam menekan tingkat kerusakan akar pada tanaman tomat, 2) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap populasi nematoda puru akar tanaman tomat, dan 3) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat, 4) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap kandungan senyawa fenol (saponin, tanin, dan glikosida). Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2014 di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 16 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas aplikasi Trichoderma sp. isolat jahe, Trichoderma sp. isolat nanas, Trichoderma sp. isolat pisang, Trichoderma sp. isolat bawang merah, dan kombinasinya serta nematisida dan kontrol. Variabel yang diamati adalah tingkat kerusakan akar, populasi nematoda, dan kepadatan akhir Trichoderma sp., tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering akar, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan bobot buah per tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi isolat Trichoderma sp. belum mampu menekan populasi nematoda serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat. Akan tetapi, aplikasi isolat Trichoderma sp. dapat menekan tingkat kerusakan akar dan meningkatkan kandungan senyawa glikosida.

The aims of this research were to: 1) know the effect of four isolates Trichoderma sp. and its combination in reducing level of root damage, 2) know the effect of four isolates Trichoderma sp. and its combination in reducing root knot nematode populations, 3) know the effect of four isolates Trichoderma sp. and its combination on the growth and yield of tomato, and 4) know the effect of four isolates Trichoderma sp. and its combination on content of phenolic compound (saponin, tannin, and glicoside). The research was conducted from March to June 2014 in Plant Protection Laboratory and eksperimental field belongs to Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Variables observed were level of root damage, nematode population, plant height, plant fresh weight, root fresh weight, plant dry weight, root dry weight, number of fruit, and fruit weight. This research used Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 16 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consist of aplication of Trichoderma sp. ginger isolate, Trichoderma sp. pineapple isolate, Trichoderma sp. banana isolate, Trichoderma sp. shallot isolate and its combinations within nematicide and control. The results showed that application of Trichoderma sp. isolates was not able to reduce root knot nematode populations and improved growth and yield of tomato. However, application of Trichoderma sp. isolates could reduce the level of root damage and increase glicoside content.
