A Program Studi Bahasa  dan  Sastra  Inggris, Jurusan  Ilmu  Budaya, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik, Universitas  Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Tahun Akademik 2014/2015 Skripsi yang  berjudul “The Impacts of Lady Windermere’s Delusional Jealousy As Seen in Oscar Wilde’s Fiction Drama Lady Windermere’s Fan” bertujuan untuk meneliti bentuk-bentuk gangguan negatif delusi (waham) dan cemburu dari Lady Windermere sebagai karakter wanita utama pada drama Lady Windermere’s  Fan. Teori  Abnormalitas  digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa data-data di dalam drama. Pada skripsi  ini, metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisa kalimat-kalimat dan ujaran dalam novel  dengan menggunakan unsur intrinsik dalam drama terutama plot. Ada beberapa langkah yang dilakukan dalam menganalisa kecemburuan Lady Windermere. Langkah pertama adalah mengumpulkan data dalam bentuk dialog dan ujaran dalam drama. Langkah kedua adalah menganalisa data dengan menggunakan teori cemburu untuk mengetahui kecemburuan apa yang Lady Windermere miliki. Langkah ketiga adalah untuk menemukan penyebab dan akibat dari gangguan yang Lady Windermere alami menggunakan teori abnormalitas dan gangguan delusi. Langkah terakhir adalah mengambil kesimpulan dan memberikan saran dari hasil penelitian. Lebih jauh, Dalam mendeskripsikan dan memperjelas data penelitian, beberapa unsur intrinsik diganakan seperti plot, karakter dan karakterisasi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menambah pemahaman tentang gangguan delusi cemburu  secara umum dan eksplorasi dari unsur elemen pada karya sastra terutama plot. Berdasarkan analisis, diketahui bahwa Lady Windermere mengalami waham cemburu setelah dia menemukan bukti yang terkait dengan informasi yang tidak jelas dari teman dekatnya Duchess of Berwick, di sisi lain terdapat juga banyak penyebab lainnya yang terkait masalah diatas.

The  research  entitled  “The  Impacts  of  Lady  Windermere’s  Delusional 
Jealousy  As  Seen  in  Oscar  Wilde’s  Fiction  Drama  Lady  Windermere’s  Fan ”  is 
aimed  to  analyze  the  portrayal  of  delusional  disorder  and  the  impact  of  the 
jealousy of  Lady  Windermere as the main character of   Lady Windermere’s Fan
drama. 
This  research  uses  descriptive  qualitative  method  to  analyze  the  story  by 
using the intrinsic elements of the drama text especially the plot. There are steps 
done  in  analyzing  the  delusional  jealousy  of  Lady  Windermere.  First   step  is 
collecting data in the form of dialogues and utterances in the drama. The second is 
analyzing the data by using theory of  delusional disorder and  jealousy to find out 
what jealousy Lady Windermere has. The third is finding out the cause and impact
of her delusional jealousy by using abnormality theory . The last step is concluding 
and recommendation to its problem. Furthermore,  In the process of describing and 
emphasizing data of the research, several intrinsic elements are used, such as the 
plot, character and characterization. Thus, the results of the research are expected 
to  enrich  the  comprehension  about  delusional   disorder,  especially  jealousy,  and 
the explorations of the intrinsic elements in literary works especially plot.
Based on the analysis,  Lady  Windermere has delusional jealousy after she 
found  the  evidence  that  is  related  to  the  unclear  information  from  her  friend 
Duchess of Berwick, besides there are several causes that are related to it.
