Penelitian ini berjudul “Dimensi Politik Kekosongan Jabatan Sekretaris Desa di Desa Wanadadi Kabupaten Banjarnegara”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah dimensi politik dalam hubungan Pemerintah Desa Wanadadi dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Banjarnegara berkaitan dengan kekosongan jabatan sekretaris desa dan menjelaskan strategi pemerintah Desa Wanadadi dalam mengatasi dampak kekosongan sekretaris desa Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik penetapan informan menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling.Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi.
	Hasil penelitian ini adalah Dimensi politik kekosongan jabatan sekretaris desa di Desa Wanadadi disebabkan oleh adanya unsur politis dalam proses pengisian jabatan sekretaris desa tersebut. Dimensi politik tersebut berpengaruh besar pada lamanya proses pengisian sekretaris desa pada birokrasi desa tersebut. Dimensi politik kekosongan sekretaris desa tersebut terlihat dalam proses pengisian yang dilakukan dari tahun 2010-2013 yang meliputi aspek proses tawar-menawar antara pihak pemerintah desa dengan pemerintah kabupaten, relasi aktor dalam pengisian jabatan sekretaris desa tersebut, serta strategi yang dilakukan pihak pemerintah desa untuk mengatasi dampak kekosongan sekretaris desa tersebut. 
	Pada proses tawar-menawar yang terjadi antara pihak pemerintah desa dengan pihak pemerintah kabupaten dalam pengisian sekretaris desa tersebut adanya penekanan yang kuat dari pihak pemerintah desa terhadap pemerintah kabupaten untuk segera mengisi kekosongan sekretaris desa tersebut, Namun demikian, pemerintah desa tidak punya posisi tawar yang kuat,karena semenjak kekosongan terjadi dari tahun 2010 sampai tahun 2013 belum ada upaya pengisian dari pemerintah kabupaten. Dalam hal ini, terdapat kesan bahwa pemerintah kabupaten mengangap kekosongan sekretaris desa bukanlah permasalahan yang begitu serius untuk segera diatasi, dengan demikian menjadikan kekosongan sekretaris desa berlangsung lama. Proses tawar-menawar tersebut juga menempatkan pihak DPRD posisi tawarnya lemah karena tidak bisa untuk mempengaruhi pemerintah kabupaten untuk segera mengisi kekosongan sekretaris desa tersebut. Relasi aktor dalam pengisian jabatan sekretaris desa tersebut menempatkan pemerintah kabupaten dalam posisi tawar yang kuat. Dalam hal ini, pemerintah kabupaten tidak terpengaruh oleh penawaran dan penekanan untuk segera mengisi kekosongan sekretaris desa tersebut yang dilakukan pihak DPRD maupun pemerintah desa. Strategi yang dilakukan pemerintah Desa Wanadadi untuk mengatasi dampak kekosongan jabatan sekretaris desa dilakukan dengan dua strategi, yaitu strategi rangkap bergilir jabatan sekretaris desa dan juga lelang jabatan sekretaris desa.

This study is entitled “Political Dimension of Job Vacancy Village Secretary at Villages Wanadadi Banjarnegara”. The purpose of the study is to describe how the political dimension in connection with the vacancy of secretary position at Banjarnegara District Goverment and explain the goverment strategy Wanadadi village in the overcome the effect for the unit district secretary. This study used qualitative method with an informant technic which used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data taken in this study is done by intervewing, observation and documentation. 
	The result of the study was political dimension of job vacancy village secretary at Villages Wanadadi Banjarnegara basically caused by some politic factors in the process of filling the vacancy of secretary position where that political dimension has big influence to the long process of unit district secretary in that village. The vacancy of political dimension secretary at that village was seen from the filling process which done in 2010 through 2013 which also involved bargaining process between the district government and the village government  themselves, the actor relation in filling the position of the secretary, and the strategy arranged by village government to overcome the effect of the vacancy of secretary position in that village.
	In the bargaining process which was  happen between the district government and village government in the process of filling village secretary position because the pressure from the village government to the district government in filling process of the secretary position, that the secretary should be a government employee from Wanadadi village itself because their close relation factor that they have good relation and know more about the character of the condition there. There are some actors relation in filling the secretary position of Wanadadi village side which have strong bargain position at Wanadadi village, government employees which are from Wanadadi village itself and who have weak bargain position which are the village government and the district government. The strategy of Wanadadi village government to overcome the affect of the vacancy position was done by double position and conducting auction office position among the officials. The strategy of double position was done by the village government officials to fill in the vacancy position. Furthermore, the strategy of auction office was conducted by offering to the government officials at Wanadadi village government to fill in the vacancy position.
