Maraknya kasus perkosaan merupakan sebuah fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk perkosaan yang paling banyak terjadi pada surat kabar Pos Kota edisi Januari hingga Desember 2012 dan untuk mengetahui modus operandi yang paling sering digunakan oleh pelaku perkosaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 89 berita perkosaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk perkosaan yang paling banyak terjadi adalah perkosaan akibat dorongan seksual pelaku, yaitu dengan persentase sebesar 58,4 persen. Atas dasar hal tersebut dapat dipahami bahwa secara alamiah, laki-laki cenderung lebih mudah memiliki dorongan seksual daripada perempuan. Pada praktiknya, pelaku lebih sering menggunakan kekuatan fisik, seperti merangkul atau menindih untuk memuluskan aksinya, yaitu dengan persentase sebesar 22,5 persen. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena secara alamiah pula laki-laki cenderung dapat lebih kuat secara fisik dibandingkan dengan perempuan. Pada penelitian ini, dapat ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwa pada bentuk perkosaan yang terjadi maupun pada modus operandi yang digunakan, sama-sama disebabkan oleh faktor alami yang sudah secara umum dimiliki oleh laki-laki, sehingga saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perlu adanya upaya dari aparat penegak hukum untuk melakukan penindakan secara tegas terhadap kasus-kasus perkosaan yang telah terungkap, sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan efek segan bagi calon pelaku yang hendak melakukan perkosaan.

The high of the rape case is an interesting phenomena to be researched. The purpose that want to be achieved in this research is to find out the form of the most rape that often happens in the Newspaper of Pos Kota in Edition on January – December 2012 and to find out the operation mode that the most used by the rape suspect. This research uses the method of content analysis with the total sample that has been used it is 89 rape news. The result of research shows that the form of rape most happens is the rape that cause the sexual desire of suspect that is with the percentage 58.4 percent. From that research above, it can be understood that naturally the male is tend to be easier to have the sexual desire that female. In practice, the suspect often uses the physical strength such as hugging, huddling up, or weighing on to do his action that is by percentage 22.5 percent. It can be happened because naturally male is tends to be stronger physically than female. In this research, it can be concluded there is the form of rape that happens or in the operation mode that is used, similarly it is caused by the natural factor that has been generally owned by male, so the suggestion that can be given that there needs to efforts from the law enforcement officers to conduct the punishment firmly to the rape cases that has been revealed, so it hopefully can give the unwilling to the suspect who want to do the rape act.
