The study entitled "The Influence of Investment, Wage Rate, and Labor Productivity On the Employment Absorption In the Industrial Sector in West Java Province for the Period of 1995-2011". The purpose of this research is to know/understand the influence of investment, wages rate and labor productivity in having influence on employment absorpting in the industrial sector in West Java Province. In addition, the purpose of this study is also to see the development of employment absorpting in the industrial sector for the Period of 1995-2011 and its trend until 2030.
The research method which is used in this study is the conclusive method. The study was conducted by using the multiple linear regression and the trend analysis tool. Multiple linear regression analysis was intended to see the influence of the investment, wages rate and labor productivity in having influence on employment absorpting in the industrial sector in West Java Province. The Trend analysis tools was using to see the development of employment absorpting in the industrial sector for the period of 1995-2011 and its trend until 2030.
The results of this study concluded that: (1) the Investment, wage rates, and labor  productivity simultaneously were being to had influenced on  the employment absorption in the industrial sector in West Java Province for the period of 1995-2011. In the partial results: (a) the Investment  was being to had a positive and significant influenced on the employment absorption in the industrial sector in West Java Province for the period of 1995-2011. (b) the wage rate was being to had a negative and significant influenced on the employment absorption in the industrial sector in West Java Province for the period of 1995-2011. (c) the Productivity was being to had a negative and insignificant influenced on the employment absorption in the industrial sector in West Java Province for the period of 1995-2011. (2) There was lowering of employment absorpting in the industrial sector in West Java Province for the period of employment absorpting 1995-2011. (3) The trend of employment absorpting in the industrial sector in West Java Province is expected amount to 975 582, 21 persons.
The implications of the study conclusions are: (1) the investment increasing is needed to promote the employment absorpting. Not only from the foreign investment, but also from the domestic investment. (2) The rate of wage which is raising also will demand more higher productivity rate. In the meantime, the increasing of productivity will raise the company profit. In the next turn, the increasing of the company profit will raise the increasing of the rate of wage. (3) The Indonesian people should be more having of love to the domestic products. If there are more interests and purchasing for the domestic products, the domestic production level will be drived to raise. The increasing of domestic product demand will drive the increasing of the new labor absorption, so that will reduce the unemployment level. (4) The development of employment  absorption reduction for the priod of 1995-2011 must be solved by the increasing of new investment to increase the labor absorpting. The other solution is efforted by the community capacity building.  The community capacity building (as like education and training for their know how and skill, networking and marketing facility, and working capital) is addressed to catch amounts the opportunities which is created by the technology development, market open (like ACFTA dan WTO), and the optimalization of local resources.
