UNJUK KERJA ASTERISK DAN FREESWITCH SEBAGAI IPPBX DI JARINGAN LOKAL UNSOED

Untuk membangun sebuah jaringan Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) dibutuhkan sebuah server yang berfungsi sebagai IPPBX. Asterisk dan Freeswitch adalah sebuah layanan yang dapat digunakan sebagai server VoIP. Dua buah komputer server berbasis Linux distribusi Ubuntu 12.04 digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh spesifikasi perangkat keras komputer terhadap kualitas layanan VoIP. Kualitas dari purwarupa sebuah layanan VoIP dapat dilihat dari nilai delay, jitter, packet loss, CPU usage, memory usage, dan Mean Opinon Score (MOS). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan nilai rerata delay, jitter, packet loss, dan MOS komunikasi suara pada server pertama menggunakan Asterisk sebesar 1.11496 ms, 0.089447413 ms, 0 %, dan 4.9 sedangkan Freeswitch sebesar 0.63715634 ms, 0.060024744 ms, 0%, dan 5. Nilai untuk server kedua menggunakan Asterisk secara berurutan dengan nilai 0.64534 ms, 0.101067622 ms, 0 %, dan 4.8, sedangkan Freeswitch 0.641292924 ms, 0.066395223 ms, 0%, dan 5. Kemudian CPU usage dan Memory usage pada server 1 menggunakan Asterisk 1.2 % dan 0.5%, Freeswitch 1 % dan 1%. Pada server 2 menggunakan Asterisk 0.7 % dan 0.6%, pada Freeswitch 0.5% dan 1.08%. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh, Freeswitch lebih baik digunakan di jaringan lokal UNSOED.

To make a Voice over Internet Protocol’s (VoIP) network, a server is needed for an IPPBX. Asterisk and Freeswitch are a services that can be used for a VoIP server. There are two of computer server with Linux’s Ubuntu 12.04 operating system used to determine the influence of computer hardware specifications of the quality of VoIP services. To determine the quality of a prototype VoIP service can be determined from the value of delay, jitter, packet loss, CPU usage, memory usage, and Mean Opinon Score (MOS). Results of research conducted, the mean value obtained delay, jitter, packet loss on voice communication, and MOS using an Asterisk server number 1 is 1.11496 ms, 0.089447413 ms, 0 %, 4.9, with Freeswitch is 0.63715634 ms, 0.060024744 ms, 0%, and 5 .On server number 2 using Asterisk in sequence with a value of 0.64534 ms, 0.101067622 ms, 0 %, and 4.8 , using Freeswitch 0.641292924 ms, 0.066395223 ms, 0%, and 5 . CPU usage and memory usage on the server 1 using Asterisk is 1.2 % and 0.5 % , Freeswitch 1 % and 1 % . On server 2 using Asterisk 0.7 % and 0.6 % , Freeswitch 0.5 % and 1.08% .
