ABSTRAK, Penempatan minimarket seperti Indomart dan Alfamart di Purwokerto tidak tersebar secara merata. Jarak minimarket satu dengan minimarket yang lain terlalu dekat satu sama lain. Di lain pihak, Peraturan Pemerintah Banyumas No 9 Tahun 2010 menyatakan bahwa pembangunan minimarket baru harus berjarak minimal 500 meter dari minimarket lainnya dan pasar tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode usulan lokasi optimal pendirian minimarket Indomart baru dengan menggunakan metode pusat gravitasi. Untuk mendapatkan lokasi minimarket baru yang paling optimal di tempat tertentu. Dibutuhkan pertimbangan masing-masing jarak yang saling berhubungan di sekitar tempat yang akan dibangun. Lokasi baru yang telah dipilih, akan mempengaruhi rute distribusi produk dengan Indomart yang sudah ada di daerah Purwokerto. Mencari rute distribusi produk di setiap Indomart merupakan Traveling Salesman Problem. Setelah menemukan lokasi baru dan dicari jarak yang paling pendek dan paling optimal dengan menambahkan ke Indomart yang sudah ada, rute distribusi ke masing-masing Indomart terjadi perubahan secara keseluruhan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendirian lokasi Indomart baru berpengaruh terhadap rute distribusi produk secara drastis.

ABSTRACT, The placement of minimarket such Indomart and Alfamart in Purwokerto is not spread evenly. The distance of some minimarkets are too close each other. On the other hand, the regulation section 9 year 2010  of local government of Banyumas states that any new minimarket development  must have a distance of  minimal 500 m from other minimarket and traditional market. This research is aimed to develop a  method for determining the optimal location of a new Indomart.  The method center gravitation is used.. To get the most optimal new minimarket location in certain place, it is necessary  to consider related points in the surrounding place of location building to be. The chosen new location, will influence product distribution rute to the existing Indomart in Purwokerto region. Searching for product distribution rute to every Indomart right once time is Traveling Salesman Problem. After resulting new location and searched the shortest and the most optimal rute by adding to existed indomart, distribution rute to each Indomart occurs the change comprehensively. It can be concluded that the founding of new indomart location influences to product distribution drastically.
