UJI KETAHANAN GALUR F7 PADA FASE VEGETATIF TERHADAP HAMA WERENG BATANG COKELAT (Nilaparvata lugens Stal.)

Uji ketahanan galur F7 terhadap wereng batang cokelat perlu dilakukan dalam pengembangan varietas umur genjah yang teridentifikasi ketahanan terhadap wereng batang cokelat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) tingkat serangan hama wereng batang cokelat pada galur-galur F7 padi gogo fase vegetatif; 2) siklus hama wereng batang cokelat pada galur-galur F7 padi gogo fase vegetatif; dan 3) ketahanan galur-galur F7 padi gogo terhadap wereng batang cokelat pada fase vegetatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 8 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan infestasi 10 nimfa wereng batang cokelat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan galur G50-3-1-2, G50-4-3-2 dan G69-2-4-4 merupakan galur yang memiliki ketahanan terhadap wereng batang cokelat yang dapat diuji lanjut berdasarkan pengujian intensitas serangan, skoring, indeks toleransi dan antibiosis. Siklus wereng batang cokelat menunjukan hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata pada galur F7.

Screening of rice lines F7 resistance to brown planthopper needs in the upland of the short harvesting age with identified varieties resistance to brown planthopper. Objective this research were: 1) the level of pest attack on brown planthopper of rice lines F7 vegetative phase; 2) cycles of brown planthopper on rice lines F7 vegetative phase; and 3) resistance rice lines F7 vegetative phase of brown planthopper. The research was carried out in the laboratory of plant protection, Faculty of Agriculture, General Soedirman University. The experimental design was Randomized Design Group of 8 treatments and 3 replicates with infestations 10 Brown planthopper nymphs. The results showed that the rice lines of G50-3-1-2, G50-4-3-2 and G69-4-4-2, rice lines has brown planthopper resistance and that could be tested further testing based on the intensity of the attacks, scoring, index of tolerance and antibiotic. Brown planthopper cycle showed results that is not significant on rice lines F7.
