UJI KEMEMPANAN ISOLAT BAKTERI Bacillus sp. SEBAGAI PENGENDALI HAMA Spodoptera litura F.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui isolat bakteri Bacillus sp. yang efektif untuk mengendalikan hama S. litura. (2) Mendapatkan instar larva S. litura yang rentan terhadap perlakuan bakteri Bacillus sp. (3) Mengetahui isolat bakteri Bacillus sp. yang efektif untuk mengendalikan larva S.liturapada instar 2, 3, dan 4. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (split plot design) dengan petak utama yaitu instar larva S. litura instar 2,3, dan 4, sub petak yaitu perlakuan isolat bakteri yang terdiri dari 4 isolat yaitu bakteri Bacillus B8, Bacillus B11, Bacillus thuringiensis, dan bakteri ulat S.exigua asal Serang, Purbalingga, perlakuan insektisida (Profenofos), dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada larva S. litura yang terinfeksi bakteri Bacillus sp. mengalami perubahan warna tubuh larva dan pergerakan larva menjadi lamban, kurang aktif bergerak dan kurang tanggap terhadap sentuhan.Isolat bakteri Bacillus sp yang paling efektif dalam mengendalikan hama S.liturapada variabel umur larva, nafsu makan, dan mortalitas adalah Bacillus B11. Instar larva S. liturayang paling rentan terhadap perlakuan bakteri Bacillus sp. adalah instar 4, dan interaksi yang paling efektif untuk mengendalikan larva S.lituraadalah penggunaanBacillus B.11 pada larva S.liturainstar 4.

This research aims to (1) know the bacterium Bacillus sp. isolates that are effective for controlling pests S. litura. (2) get the instar larvae of S. litura that were vulnerable to bacterial treatment of Bacillus sp. (3) Knowing isolates of bacteria Bacillus sp. is effective to control the larvae of s. litura on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instars. This research was carried out in the laboratory of plant protection, Faculty of agriculture, Jenderal SoedirmanUniversity. Research using Split plot design (divided compartments) with the main plot of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instars larvae S. litura, sub plots that treatment of bacterial isolates, consisting of four isolates of the bacterium i.e. Bacillus B8, B11 Bacillus thuringiensis and bacterium Caterpillar S. exigua attack origin, Purbalingga, insecticide treatment (Profenofos), and control.The results showed that the larvae of s. litura which infectedby bacterium Bacillus sp. larval body color changes and movement of the larvae become less active, moving slowly and are less responsive to touch. the most effective of Bacillus sp. isolates for controlled S. litura pest was Bacillus B11. It was measured from age of larvae appetite and larva mortality. The most susceptible instars of larva S. litura that gave Bacillus treatment was 4th instar. The most interaction for S. litura larva control was using Bacillus sp B11 in 4thinstar S. litura larvae.
