Karakteristik Sabun Padat Berbahan Aditif Karboksimetil Kitosan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sabun padat dengan tambahan zat aditif karboksimetil kitosan (CMCts) dari minyak zaitun, VCO, minyak kelapa sawit dan campuran minyak ketiganya. Sabun padat diperoleh dengan mereaksikan minyak dengan NaOH 30% dengan tambahan zat aditif pewarna, pewangi dan juga CMCts. Sabun padat yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi berdasarkan SNI-06-3532-1994. Karakteristik tersebut meliputi kadar air, pH dan stabilitas busa. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh untuk minyak zaitun, VCO, minyak kelapa sawit dan campuran minyak ketiganya pada kadar air yaitu berturut-turut sebesar 10.55% ; 12.77% ; 13.457% dan 15.34%, pH sebesar 8.1 ; 8.3 ; 8.7% dan 9.0%, stabilitas busa sebesar 94.30% ; 92.74% ; 90.51% dan 94.72%.

This study aims to synthesize solid soaps with the addition carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCts) derived from olive oil, virgin coconut oil, palm oil and combination of all three oils. The solid soaps was produced by reacting of fats and NaOH 30% then it is added by fragrance (parfume), stain and CMCts. The solid soap resulted was characterised based on SNI-06-3532-1994. The characteristics parameters determined were the moisture content, the pH value and the foam stability test. The solid soap with chemical characteristics inclucing moisture content with result of 10.55% ; 12.77% ; 13.457% and 15.34%, the pH value with result 8.1 ; 8.3 ; 8.7% and 9.0% and the foam stability test 94.30% ; 92.74% ; 90.51% and 94.72% respectively.
