OPTIMALISASI PENGGUNAAN PUPUK CAIR ORGANIK USB DENGAN SUPLEMENTASI HERBAL TERHADAP BAHAN KERING DAN IMBANGAN DAUN-BATANG RUMPUT GAJAH DEFOLIASI KEDUA

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan pupuk organik cair urin sapi bunting (USB) dengan penambahan herbal terhadap bahan kering dan imbangan daun-batang rumput gajah. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan dasar Pola Tersarang. Adapun materi yang digunakan adalah rumput gajah periode defoliasi kedua sebanyak 36 petak dengan luas tiap petak 2m2 dengan jarak antar tanam 1m. Jumlah perlakuan 12 dengan ulangan sebanyak tiga kali. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah bahan kering dan imbangan daun-batang rumput gajah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rataan produksi bahan kering gajah P1d1 (4,150±3,151), P1d2 (7,610±7,551), P1d3 (8,107±0,653), P2d1 (13,247±1,432), P2d2 (7,330±2,711), P2d3 (6,977±5,062), P3d1 (10,600±2,867), P3d2 (10,587±5,348), P3d3 (13,077±2,075), P4d1 (6,063±5,193), P4d2 (10,053±6,716), P4d3 (10,183±6,199) dan nilai rataan imbangan daun batang P1d1 (2,487±1,285), P1d2 (2,063±0,877), P1d3 (1,880±0,867), P2d1 (2,780±1,640), P2d2 (2,6±1,004), P2d3 (2,520±0,333), P3d1 (2,5±0,834), P3d2 (2,037±0,550), P3d3 (2,917±0,140), P4d1 (1,720±0,089), P4d2 (2,177±0,846), P4d3 (2,4±0,855). Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan tidak berbeda nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap bahan kering dan imbangan daun batang rumput gajah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk cair organik USB dengan suplementasi herbal dan peningkatan level pupuk dalam penelitian ini belum mampu meningkatkan produksi bahan kering dan imbangan daun batang rumput gajah defoliasi kedua.

The study was aimed to assess the level of the optimizing use of liquid organic fertilizer PCU to Hawai variety of Elephant Grass on dry matter production and the proportion of leaf stems, was evaluated. An Experimental research method was used, applying Grouped. The materials used were Elephant Grass (Pennisetum purpureum) variety of Hawai at 2nd defoliation. The number of treatments with twelve replications three times. The variables were observed in this study is dry matter production and leaf to stem ratio of Elephants grass. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and were tested further by orthogonal Countrast test. The results showed that P1d1 was (4,150±3,151), P1d2 was (7,610±7,551), P1d3 was (8,107±0,653), P2d1 was (13,247±1,432), P2d2 was (7,330±2,711), P2d3 was (6,977±5,062), P3d1 was (10,600±2,867), P3d2 was (10,587±5,348), P3d3 was (13,077±2,075), P4d1 was (6,063±5,193), P4d2 was (10,053±6,716), P4d3 was (10,183±6,199) andthe averagevalue of leaf to stem ratio of elephantgrass at P1d1 was (2,487±1,285), P1d2 was (2,063±0,877), P1d3 was (1,880±0,867), P2d1 was (2,780±1,640), P2d2 was (2,6±1,004), P2d3 was (2,520±0,333), P3d1 was (2,5±0,834), P3d2 was (2,037±0,550), P3d3 was (2,917±0,140), P4d1 was (1,720±0,089), P4d2 was (2,177±0,846), P4d3 was (2,4±0,855) The results of analysis of variances howed, there was no significant differences (P >0.05) of dry matter production and leaf to stem ratio of elephant grass. Based on the results of analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of liquid organic fertilizer Pregnant Cow Urine (PCU) with herbal supplementation and increased fertilizer level in this study were not able to increase on dry matter and leaf to stem ratio of elephant grass at 2nd defoliation.
