INDEKS ERITROSIT DARAH KELINCI YANG DIINFEKSI Eimeria sp.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh infeksi Eimeria sp. terhadap Mean Corpuscullar Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin (MCH), Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) dan untukmengetahui level infeksi Eimeria sp. yang paling berpengaruh terhadap indeks eritrosit (MCV, MCH, MCHC). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental. Analisis data menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Materi penelitian menggunakan kelinci Rex jantan lepas sapih (sekitar umur 3 bulan) dengan berat badan sekitar 300 gram sampai 500 gramsebanyak 20 ekor. Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar MCV, MCH dan MCHC darah kelinci Rex. Rataan hasil penelitian kadar MCV tertinggi pada perlakuan R0 (tanpa infeksi Eimeria sp.) sebesar 80,52 µ3/fL dan terendah pada perlakuan R3 (infeksi Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 103) sebesar 75,05 µ3/fL. MCH tertinggi pada perlakuan R0 (tanpa infeksi Eimeria sp.) sebesar 22,83 µµ/pg dan terendah pada perlakuan R3 (infeksi Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 103) sebesar 21,48 µµ/pg. MCHC tertinggi pada perlakuan R4 (infeksi Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 104) sebesar 29,25 % dan terendah pada perlakuan R1 (infeksi Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 101) sebesar 28,05%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh infeksi Eimeria sp. pada kelinci tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) terhadap kadar MCV, MCH dan MCHC darah kelinci. Pengukuran MCV, MCH dan MCHCmenunjukkan bahwa kelinci mengalami anemia mikrositik hiprokomik.

ABSTRACT This research was aimed to determine the effect of Eimeria sp. infection on Corpuscullar Mean Volume (MCV), Mean CorpuscullarHemoglobin (MCH), Mean hemoglobin Corpuscullar Concentration (MCHC) and to determine the most influence level of infection Eimeria sp. on erythrocyte index (MCV, MCH, MCHC). The research was use experimental method. The Data analysis was use Randomized Complete Design (RCD). The research materials were 20 male rabbits Rex post weaning (about 3 months old), the weight about 300 grams to 500 gramst. The variable measured were the levels of MCV, MCH and MCHC on blood of Rex rabbit. The results showed that the average of the highest level of MCV was R0 (without infection of Eimeria sp.) as much as 80.52 μ3/fL and the lowest was R3 (infected with Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 103 )as much as 75.05 μ3/fL. The highest of MCH was R0 (without infection of Eimeria sp.) as much as 22.83 μ /pg and the lowest was R3 (infected with Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 103) as much as 21.48 μμ/pg . The highest of MCHC was R4 (infected with Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 104) as much as 29.25 % and the lowest was R1 (infected with Eimeria sp. 1,008 x 101) as much as 28.05%. The results of analysis of variance showed that the rabbits infected with Eimeria sp. had no significant effect (P > 0.05) to the levels of MCV, MCH and MCHC on rabbit blood. Measurement of MCV, MCH and MCHCshowed that rabbits have anemia hypochromic microcytic.
