PERBEDAAN TINGKAT SPIRITUALITAS PADA LANSIA DI PANTI (UNIT REHABILITASI SOSIAL DEWANATA CILACAP) DAN KOMUNITAS (DESA KALISABUK KESUGIHAN CILACAP)

Jumlah penduduk lansia di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahun. Spiritualitas merupakan bahan utama untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia di usia senjanya. Oleh karena itu, sangatlah penting peran orang di sekitarnya dalam membantu lansia memenuhi kebutuhan spiritualitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat spiritualitas pada lansia di panti (Unit Rehabilitasi Sosial Dewanata Cilacap) dan komunitas (Desa Kalisabuk Kesugihan Cilacap). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua lansia di panti (Unit Rehabilitasi Sosial Dewanata Cilacap) yang berjumlah 90 lansia. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 responden yang terdiri dari 30 lansia di panti dan 30 lansia di komunitas yang di ambil dengan metode purposive random sampling selama masa penelitian pada bulan November-Desember 2013. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuisioner dan di analisis dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil analisis dengan uji Chi Square diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi (p) dari t hitung : 0.008, p < 0.05. Terdapat perbedaan tingkat spiritualitas pada lansia di panti (Unit Rehabilitasi Sosial Dewanata Cilacap) dan komunitas (Desa Kalisabuk Kesugihan Cilacap)

The elderly population in Indonesia is increasing every year . Spirituality is the main ingredient for improving the quality of life of the elderly in old age . Therefore, it is extremely important role in helping people around the elderly meet the needs of its spirituality . This study aims to determine the differences in the level of spirituality in the elderly in nursing ( Social Rehabilitation Unit Dewanata Cilacap ) and community ( village Kalisabuk Kesugihan Cilacap ) . This study is observational analytic cross sectional approach . The population in this study were all elderly in nursing ( Social Rehabilitation Unit Dewanata Cilacap ) , amounting to 90 elderly people . The study sample consisted of 60 respondents in the homes of 30 elderly and 30 elderly people in the community were taken by purposive random sampling method during the study period in November- December 2013 . Instrument used was a questionnaire and analyzed by Chi Square test . The results of the analysis with the Chi Square test is known that the value of significance ( p ) of t : 0.008 , P <0.05 . There are differences in the level of spirituality in the elderly in nursing ( Social Rehabilitation Unit Dewanata Cilacap ) and community ( village Kalisabuk Kesugihan Cilacap )
