JURUSAN KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN DAN ILMU-ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS JENDERAL SOEDIRMAN PURWOKERTO 2014 INTISARI SRI SULASTRI PERILAKU MEROKOK ANGGOTA POLISI POLSEK KAWUNGANTEN KABUPATEN CILACAP Jumlah perokok dari tahun ketahun semakin meningkat. Masalah perilaku merokok yang dihadapi dari berbagai sektor, baik dari sektor lingkungan formal maupun non formal. Banyak penelitian merokok pada masyarakat yang bekerja pada sektor non formal seperti pada buruh, petani sedangkan penelitian pada masyarakat yang bekerja pada sektor formal seperti dosen, pelajar, tenaga kesehatan dan masih banyak lainnya, namun masih sangat jarang dilakukan penelitian tentang perilaku merokok pada anggota Polisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, sikap, aktivitas, budaya, peran tenaga kesehatan dan sarana prasarana yang mendukung perilaku merokok anggota Polisi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian pengetahuan subyek penelitian masih terbatas, namun sikap yang positif ditunjukan ketika merokok di sekitar anak dan istri dan sikap negatif ditunjukan ketika merokok disekitar orang lain. Aktivitas merokok dimulai sejak SMA, sebagian lainnya di mulai saat Kuliah, kebiasaan merokok disebabkan oleh faktor psikologis, jumlah rokok yang dikonsumsi berkaitan dengan jatah piket malam. Sarana prasarana pendukung perilaku merokok yaitu tersedianya asbak. Peran tenaga kesehatan yang dirasakan masih kurang dalam memberikan informasi terkait perilaku merokok anggota Polisi. Saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu agar diadakan penyuluhan tentang merokok pada anggota Polisi di Kepolisian Sektor Kawunganten. The smoking behaviour problems encountered from different sectors, both from the environmental sector of formal and non-formal. There are many studies of smoking on people who work in the non-formal sector like laborers and farmers, while the research about smoker who work in the formal sector frequently about lecturers, students, health workers and many others. Meanwhile the research about smoking behavior on the policemen still very rarely done. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge, attitudes, activities, culture, role of health workforce and infrastructure that support the smoking behavior of policemen. The research use qualitative approach. Data collection use in-depth interviews, observation techniques and documentation. To test the validity of the data using triangulation method. The results showed that most of the knowledge of the subjects is still limited knowledge. But positive attitude indicated when smoking around the wife and kids, however negative attitude indicated when smoking than others. The smoking activity start as early as high school, some other at the starting time of the lecture, the habit of smoking is caused by psychological factor, the number of cigarettes consumed depends on the frequent of night picket. The role of health care personnel are still lacking in providing information regarding the smoking behaviour of policemen. Suggestion that can be given is that to held counseling on smoked on policemen in police sector Kawunganten. Key word : Smoking behavior, policemenbehavior, qualitative Literature : 47 (1980-2013)
