ABSTRAK PENGARUH TERAPI BERJEMUR SINAR MATAHARI TERHADAP KADAR GULA DARAH PUASA PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 DI PUSKESMAS PURWOKERTO UTARA Desi Ayu Kristiani1, Atyanti Isworo2, Dewi Natalia3 1Mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 2Jurusan keperawatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 3Ruang Bugenvil, RSUD Banyumas Latar Belakang: Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang tidak dapat disembuhkan namun dapat dikendalikan, untuk itu diperlukan penanganan yang tepat, kontrol yang teratur serta kepatuhan dari penderita itu sendiri. Terapi yang diberikan pada penderita diabetes mellitus dapat berupa terapi farmakologi dan terapi non farmakologi. Salah satu terapi non farmakologi yang dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dan murah yaitu berjemur sinar matahari. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi berjemur sinar matahari terhadap kadar gula darah puasa pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Metode: Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 40 responden yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok. Hasil: Hasil uji Wilcoxon terhadap kadar gula darah puasa pre intervensi dan post intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan diperoleh nilai p = 0,015, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol p = 0,881. Hasil uji T-test terhadap kadar gula darah puasa post intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol, diperoleh nilai p = 0,534. Simpulan: Pada kelompok perlakuan terdapat perbedaan kadar gula darah puasa pre intervensi dan post intervensi, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak ada perbedaan kadar gula darah puasa pre intervensi dan post intervensi. Hasil uji gula darah puasa post intervensi pada kedua kelompok menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna.

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF SUNRAYS THERAPY ON FASTING BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS OF PATIENTS DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 AT PUSKESMAS PURWOKERTO UTARA Desi Ayu Kristiani1, Atyanti Isworo2, Dewi Natalia3 1Student of Nursing Department, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 2Nursing Department, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 3Bugenvil unit, RSUD Banyumas Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured but can be controlled, so it need proper treatments, regular medical check-up and compliance from the patient. Therapy given to patients with diabetes mellitus may include pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be done easily and cheaply is sunrays therapy. Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of sunrays therapy on fasting blood glucose levels of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. Methods: This study is the quantitative with quasi-experiment and non-equivalent control group design. Sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 40 respondents were divide into two groups. Results: The result revealed pre intervention and post intervention in treatment group obtained the value of p = 0,015, where as in the control group p = 0,881. T-test results on the post intervention fasting blood glucose levels in treatment and control group, the value of p = 0.534. Conclusions: In the treatment group there are differences of fasting blood glucose levels pre intervention and post intervention, where as in control group there was no difference of fasting blood glucose levels pre intervention and post intervention. There are no difference of fasting blood glucose levels between control and treatment group.
