PENGARUH KEPRIBADIAN, PENGEMBANGAN KARIR DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP PARTISIPASI PEKERJA DALAM CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM DI PERTAMINA REFINERY UNIT IV CILACAP

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kepribadian, Pengembangan Karir Dan Kompensasi Terhadap Partisipasi Pekerja Dalam Continuous Improvement Program Di Pertamina Refinery Unit IV Cilacap”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) Pengaruh kepribadian terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (2) Pengaruh kompensasi terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, dan (3) Pengaruh kompensasi terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan populasi pekerja tetap Pertamina RU IV Cilacap sebanyak 1450 orang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 314 orang diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Kepribadian neuroticism berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. (2) Kepribadian extraversion berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap (3) Kepribadian openness to experience berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. (4) Kepribadian agreeableness berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. (5) Kepribadian conscientiousness berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. (6) Pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. (7) Kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi pekerja dalam program CIP di Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. Implikasi dari hasil kesimpulan penelitian yaitu: (1) Pimpinan perlu mempelajari kepribadian pekerja agar dapat mendorong dan memotivasi pekerja untuk berpartisipasi dalam program CIP. Pimpinan dapat memanfaatkan waktu meeting untuk mengamati perilaku bawahan. Selain itu, pimpinan juga dapat memanfaatkan tenaga ahli psikolog untuk melakukan tes kepribadian. (2) Penilaian kerja oleh atasan dapat dilakukan secara objektif, sehingga setiap pekerja dapat memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk dipromosikan. (3) Hasil karya pekerja dalam program CIP yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pekerjaan, hendaknya diberikan hak cipta dan dipublikasikan dalam jurnal

The title of this research is “The Effects of Personality, Career Development and Compensation towards Worker Participation In Continuous Improvement Program at Pertamina Refinery Unit IV Cilacap” . The aims of this research were to analyze: (1) The effect of personality towards worker participation in the CIP Program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (2) The effect of career development towards worker participation in the CIP Program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, and (3) The effect of compensation towards worker participation in CIP Program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. This research was survey in nature with the total population of Pertamina RU IV Cilacap employees 1450 persons. The samples of this research were 314 which were taken by using proportional random sampling. To analyze the data, Double Linear Regression was used. The conclusions of this research were: (1) Neuroticism personality positively effected the worker participation in CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (2) Extraversion personality gave positive effect to worker participation in CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (3) Openness personality had positive effect towards the worker participation in CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (4) Agreeableness personality had positive effect towards the worker participation in CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (5) Conscientiousness personality also positively gave a positive effect to the worker participation in CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (6) Career development had positive effect towards the worker participation in the CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap, (7) Compensation also gave a positive effect to the worker participation in the CIP program at Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. The implications of this research were: (1) The chairperson needs to know the workers personality to encourage and motivate them to participate in CIP program. The chairperson can make use of a meeting time to observe the employees’ behavior. Furthermore, the chairperson may also hire the psychologist to hold personality test. (2) The working evaluation can be done objectively so that every worker will have the same opportunity for the promotion. (3) The product of the worker in the CIP program which can be applied for the sake of the development of working quality is supposed to have license and be published in journal.
