ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang. Sepak bola merupakan olahraga yang melibatkan banyak pergerakan tubuh sehingga membutuhkan beberapa komponen biomotorik, salah satunya adalah kelincahan. Kelincahan diperlukan agar atlet mampu mengubah arah dan posisi tubuh dengan cepat dalam keadaan bergerak, tanpa kehilangan keseimbangan. Faktor genetik diketahui dapat mempengaruhi performa atletik dalam permainan sepak bola. Polimorfisme gen alfa-aktinin-3 (ACTN3) menunjukkan bahwa genotip RR merepresentasikan performa kekuatan otot, genotip RX merepresentasikan performa kekuatan-ketahanan otot, dan genotip XX merepresentasikan performa ketahanan otot. 
Tujuan. Mengetahui hubungan polimorfisme gen alfa-aktinin-3 (ACTN3) dengan kelincahan pada atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) sepak bola di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto.
Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan studi observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah atlet UKM sepak bola di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman yang berusia 18-23 tahun yang berjumlah 55 orang. Kelincahan diukur dengan menggunakan tes agilitas Illinois, sedangkan polimorfisme gen ACTN3 diidentifikasi menggunakan metode PCR-RFLP dari sampel darah subjek penelitian. Uji Kruskal-Wallis dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan polimorfisme gen ACTN3 dengan kelincahan.
Hasil. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan polimorfisme gen alfa-aktinin-3 dengan kelincahan (p = 0,421). Waktu kelincahan atlet UKM sepak bola di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman yaitu nilai minimum sebesar 10,69 detik, nilai maksimum sebesar 23,50 detik, dan nilai tengah sebesar 18,20 detik. Waktu kelincahan tercepat dimiliki oleh responden dengan genotip RX dan waktu kelincahan terlama dimiliki oleh responden dengan genotip RR.
Kesimpulan. Tidak terdapat hubungan polimorfisme gen alfa-aktinin-3 dengan kelincahan pada atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) sepak bola di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto.

ABSTRACT
Background. Football is a kind of sport which involves many of body movement where requiring some biomotoric components. One of them is agility. Agility was needed so athletes able to change the direction and position of the body in motion position instantly, without losing any body balance. Genetic factor was known have affected the athletic performance in a football game. The alfa-actinin-3 (ACTN3) gene polymorphism consist of three genotype. The RR genotype represents the performance of muscle strength, the RX genotype represents the strength-endurance performance, and the XX genotype represents the endurance performance. 
Objective. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of the alfa-actinin-3 (ACTN3) gene polymorphism to agility of football athlete in Student Activity Unit at Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto. 
Methods. This study is an analitic observational study with cross sectional design. The subjects were 55 football athletes in Student Activity Unit at Jenderal Soedirman University where subjects age between 18-23 years old. Agility was measured using the Illinois Agility Test, while the ACTN3 gene polymorphisms were identified using PCR-RFLP method of blood sample of research subjects. Kruskal-Wallis test was conducted to determine the relationship of ACTN3 polymorphism with agility.
Results. There is no significant association of the alfa-actinin-3 (ACTN3) polymorphism with agility (p = 0,421). The observation results shows the agility test value where minimum value of agility test was 10,69 second, the maximum value was 23,50 second, and the median value was 18,20 second. The shortest time to athlete to complete this test is gained by participant with the RX genotype, whereas the longest time is gained by participant with the RR genotype. 
Conclusion. There is no association of the alfa-actinin-3 (ACTN3) gene polymorphism with agility of football athlete in Student Activity Unit at Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto.
