ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL DENGAN TINGKAT DEPRESI PADA PASIEN STROKE DI RSUD Dr. R. GOETENG TAROENADIBRATA PURBALINGGA Neru Adi Putra1, Arif Setyo Upoyo2, Yuli Dwi Hartanto3 Latar belakang : Stroke dapat menyebabkan gangguan neuropsikiatrik negatif seperti depresi. Masalah tersebut sering muncul setelah serangan stroke yang disebut dengan Post Stroke Depresion (PSD). Kejadian PSD bervariasi antara 20% - 60%. Kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap mekanisme koping. Seseorang yang memiliki spiritualitas yang tinggi lebih mampu mengatasi masalah hidup yang mengakibatkan depresi. Tujuan : Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecerdasan spiritual dengan tingkat depresi pada pasien stroke. Metode : Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan Desember 2013 sampai dengan Januari 2014. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien stroke di RSUD dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Teknik sampling penelitian adalah Consecutive sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 Responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner kecerdasan spiritual dan instrumen Hamilthon Rating Scale for Depresion. Analisis data menggunakan uji rank spearman Hasil : Analisis menunjukan p = 0.000 dan koefisien korelasi (r) adalah – 0,489. Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecerdasan spiritual dengan tingkat depresi pada pasien stroke.

ABSTRACT THE CORRELATION BETWEEN SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT AND DEPRESSION POTENTIAL LEVEL OF STROKE PATIENTS IN RSUD DR. R. GOETENG TAROENADIBRATA PURBALINGGA Neru Adi Putra1, Arif Setyo Upoyo2, Yuli Dwi Hartanto3 Background: Stroke can cause negative psychiatric disorder such of depression. Post stroke depression ( PSD ) is a kind of depression which happened after a stroke. The possibility of PSD occurs is between 20% up to 60%. The spiritual quotient influences the coping mechanism. A person, who has high spiritual quotient, will be more capable to solve their problems in life which are sometimes caused depression. Purpose: The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between the spiritual quotient level and a depression level on stroke patients. Method: This research used cross sectional method. The research was conducted from December 2013 to January 2014. Population this research were stroke patients in RSUD dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Sampling method research was consecutive sampling with 60 respondents. The instruments used in this research were spiritual quotient questionnaire and Hamilton Rating Scale Instrument for Depression. Non parametric rank spearman was used to analyze the data. Results: The analysis show p = 0.000 and coefficient correlation ( r ) 0,489. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between spiritual quotient levels with the depression potential level of the stoke patients.
