Sistem pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas sangat bergantung pada profesional kesehatan khususnya dokter dan apoteker. Penerimaan dokter terhadap layanan apoteker tergantung pada penilaian dokter yang melekat pada kompetensi apoteker. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengalaman dan harapan dokter terhadap peran apoteker di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto.
	Penelitian ini merupakan study cross-sectional dan sampel penelitian terdiri dari seluruh dokter yang berpraktek di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Angket yang digunakan terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu, data demografi, interaksi dokter dengan apoteker, pengalaman dokter dengan apoteker, dan harapan dokter dari apoteker. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square.
Enam puluh empat dokter mengisi kuesioner secara lengkap. Sebanyak 54.7% dokter tidak pernah atau jarang sekali berinteraksi dengan apoteker, dan alasan utama mereka berinteraksi hanya untuk menanyakan ketersediaan obat. Sebagian besar (56.2%) dokter di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto memiliki pengalaman yang baik dengan apoteker. Begitu pula (56.2%) dokter mempunyai harapan yang tinggi terhadap peran apoteker di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Tidak ada hubungan antara pengalaman dokter dengan harapannya terhadap peran apoteker di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto (p = 0.703).

Quality health care system relies heavily on health professionals especially physicians and pharmacists. Physician acceptance of the services pharmacists depending on physician assessment attached  to the pharmacist competence. The purpose of this study was to determine the experiences and expectations of physicians with pharmacists role in hospitals Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto.
This study is a cross - sectional study and the study sample consisted of all physicians who practice in hospitals Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. The sampling technique used is total sampling. This study used a questionnaire consisting of four parts, that’s are demographic data, physician interaction with a pharmacist, physician experience with pharmacist and physician expectations of pharmacists. The data was analysed by using Chi Square.
Sixty-four physicians fill out the questionnaire completely. Many as  (54.7%) a physician are never or rarely interact with the pharmacist, and the main reason they interact only to ask the availability of drugs. Mostly (56.2 %) a physician in RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono soekarjo Purwokerto has good experience with the pharmacist. So did (56.2%) physician have high expectations of the role of pharmacists in RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. There was no significant relation between physician experience with expectations to the role of pharmacists in RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto (p =0.703).
