PENGARUH CAIRAN HASIL FERMENTASI LIMBAH UDANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN, HASIL TANAMAN DAN PENGENDALIAN PENYAKIT ANTRAKNOSA PADA BUAH CABAI MERAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah dan mengetahui pengaruh cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang terhadap pengendalian penyakit antraknosa pada buah cabai merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sokaraja Tengah, Sokaraja, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Maret sampai Juli 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 sub penelitian, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 12 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Penelitian pertama yaitu penelitian pengaruh cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang terhadap pertumbuhan, dan hasil tanaman cabai merah, perlakuan terdiri dari perendaman benih dan penyemprotan tanaman dengan cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang alami (lama fermentasi 0, 7, 30, 60, 90 hari), cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang yang ditambahkan Bacillus sp. (lama fermentasi 0,7, 30, 60, 90 hari), fungisida atau air.Variabel yang diamati adalah daya kecambah benih, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, total bunga, total buah, bobot, panjang dan lingkar buah panen. Penelitian kedua yaitu pengaruh cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang terhadap pengendalian penyakit antraknosa pada buah cabai merah. Perlakuan yang dilakukan sama dengan penelitian pertama. Variabel yang diamati adalah daya kecambah, kejadian penyakit, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, total bunga dan total buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tinggi bibit dan jumlah cabang yang melalui perendaman benih dengan cairan hasil fermentasi limbah udang dengan Bacillus sp. B298 lama fermentasi 0 hari, kemudian tanaman yang disemprot dengan perlakuan yang sama memiliki nilai yang paling tinggi. Patogen penyebab antraknosa tidak dapat dikendalikan dengan penggunaan cairan hasil fementasi limbah udang atau pestisida selama musim hujan.

The aimed of this research were to determine the effect of liquid of fermented shrimp waste for growth and crop yields of red chili and to determine the effect of liquid of fermented shrimp waste to control anthracnose disease on chili fruit. This research was conducted in Sokaraja Tengah, Sokaraja, Banyumas. The research was conducted from March to July 2013. This research consisted of with 2 sub- study, using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) consisting of 12 treatments and 4 replications. The first research that studies the influence of liquid of fermented shrimp waste for plant growth and crop yields of red chili, the treatments were soaking seeds in and spraying plants with liquid product of natural fermented shrimp waste (fermentation time 0, 7, 30, 60, 90 days), liquid product of Bacillus sp. B298 fermented shrimp waste (fermentation time 0, 7, 30, 60, 90 days), fungicide or water. The measured variables were seed germination, plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, total flower, total fruit, fruit weight, lenght, and circle harvested fruits. The second research is the influence of liquid product of fermented shrimp waste to control pathogen of anthracnose disease on red chilies the treatment were similiar to the first studies. Measured variables were seed germination, disease incidence, plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, total flower, and total fruit. The results showed that seedling height and number of branches of seeds that had been soaked in the liquid of 0 day Bacillus sp. B298 fermented shrimp, then the seedlings and plants were sprayed with similar treatment had the highest value. The pathogen of anthracnose disease could not be controled by applying the liquid product of fermented shrimp waste or fungicide during rainy season.
