Supporter sepak bola melakukan banyak hal atau tindakan yang menunjukan bahwa supporter atau “kami” ada karena untuk mendukung klub sepak bola yang dicintainya dalam setiap pertandingan yang dijalani. Supporter selalu ingin memberikan dukungannya yang terbaik untuk klub yang didukungnya dengan berbagai cara atau tindakan. 
Penelitian ini berjudul “Fenomena Fanatisme Supporter Klub Sepak Bola Eropa di Purwokerto” yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto tentang fanatisme dan bentuk fanatisme supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah supporter klub sepak bola Eropa yang pernah mengikuti kegiatan atau acara supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data  diperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Analisa data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis interaktif yang terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan.`
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto memahami fanatisme adalah mendukung klub sepak bola kesayangannya dengan loyalitas yang luar biasa dan melakukan apa saja buat klub yang kita support dengan total. Sedangkan bentuk fanatisme supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto adalah antusiasme/semangat supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di dalam mendukung klub sepak bola kesayangan tidak boleh berlebihan dan memberi dukungan ke klub sepak bola kesayangannya sesuai dengan aturan dan memberi motivasi yang berdampak positif. Solidaritas antara supporter di setiap supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto yang tinggi menimbulkan rasa solidaritas kelompok hingga sudah dapat menjadi seperti keluarga sendiri. Tindakan kurang waras (proporsional) dari supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto hanya untuk euphoria saja. Indoktrinasi supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto memiliki dua fenomena yaitu antara inisiatif sendiri dan didoktrin.
Saran dari penelitian ini adalah pertama, Fanatisme sebagai paham atau keyakinan sebaiknya jangan disalah artikan atau jangan sampai berlebihan, sebaiknya Fanatisme itu diubah menjadi kekeluargaan. Kedua, Antusiame di dalam mendukung klub sebaiknya memberikan motivasi yang positif dan mendukungnya tetap sesuai dengan aturan untuk menjaga kenyamanan bersama. Ketiga, Solidaritas antar supporter yang erat dan tinggi ini seharusnya dapat menciptakan suatu kegiatan yang baru di luar konteks sepak bola. Keempat, Tindakan kurang waras yang dilakukan oleh supporter sebaiknya meluapkan rasa emosi serta menunjukan ekspresi yang positif dan bukan yang negatif yang dapat merugikan orang lain. Kelima, Berharap ada yang mampu atau mencoba untuk membentuk supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwokerto yang belum ada, tetapi seseorang yang ingin membentuknya memang dasarnya mencintai atau mengidolakan klub sepak bola yang belum ada supporter klub sepak bola Eropanya di Purwokerto agar supporter klub sepak bola Eropa di Purwoketo ini semakin ramai dan eksis lagi.

The  football supporter conducts  many things or acts  that show  the existence of supporters or ‘us’ to support  the football club  that  we loved  in every  competition that has been running. Supporters  always  wan to  give  the best support  for club  with  many of ways  or acts.  
The title of this research is “The Phenomenon of the Supporter Fanaticism  of  Europe Football Club in Purwokerto”  that  aims to find out how far   the  understanding of  Europe football  club supporter  in Purwokerto  about the  fanaticism and the form of  the  fanaticism of Europe football  club  in Purwokerto. The target in this research is the Europe football  club supporter that  ever participates  the activity or program  of Europe football club supporter in Purwokerto.  The method of research uses the  method of  descriptive  qualitative. Taking sample  is conducted  by  using  technique of  purposive  sampling.  Data collection is conducted  by interview, observation  and documentation. Source of data is obtained  from the  primary  and secondary data. Data analysis  is  conducted  by technique of  interactive analysis  that is divided   into three parts  that   are data reduction,  data presentation and  taking conclusion.    
The result of research  shows that  Europe football club supporter  in Purwokerto understand about  fanaticism,  it is  to support   their  beloved  football club  with outstanding loyalty and do  anything for the  football  club that we  support totally. And the form of the supporter fanaticism of Europe football club in Purwokerto is the  enthusiasm/spirit of  Europe football club  supporter  in supporting their beloved  football club where it do not  overwhelming  acts and   in  giving  the support  for the  football club   it would be  according to  the  regulation and gives the  motivation that can give the positive impact. The high solidarity between the supporter  in  every of  Europe football  club supporter  in Purwokerto can produces  the solidarity bonding  in group so  it is like  our   family.  The inappropriate act   from  Europe football  club supporter just for  euphoria. Indoctrination of Europe  football  supporter in Purwokerto has  two phenomenon that area  self initiative  and  doctrine.    
The  target of this research is first, Fanaticism  as the  ideology  or  conviction  they do not become  misperception or overwhelming,  it will be better if  fanaticism become the clannish. Second, Enthusiasm in supporting  of their club by giving the positive motivation and  encourage  them bases  on the  regulation  to keep   the  comfort together. Third,  solidarity  between the  supporter  that  very  tight and  high it is supposed to create  an new activity in the  out of  football context. Fourth,  the  inappropriate  acts  that  is conducted by supporter  it is supposed to express  their  emotion  feeling and  shows the  positive expression  and  not negative  things  that can disturb other people.  Fifth, it is hopefully able to do or  tries  to make  the Europe football  club  supporter in Purwokerto  that has not  being  existed before, but  the people  who want to make the Europe football club supporter  is  basically  love and  idolize the  Europe football club   in Purwokerto in order to make the Europe football club supporter in Purwokerto is more  crowded  and  existed.
