Kelompok wanita tani ternak “WANITA KARYA” merupakan salah satu kelompok tani di Kabupaten Banyumas yang memelihara ayam buras jenis ayam arab (Galuss tursicus) dengan produksi berupa telur ayam. Selama penelitian biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan kelompok setiap bulan berfluktuasi khususnya untuk biaya pakan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui profil kelompok wanita tani ternak dari aspek kelembagaan dan aspek pemasaran, mengetahui biaya dan pendapatan, mengetahui harga pokok produksi, dan mengetahui titik impas (BEP) telur ayam buras. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, sedangkan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif,  biaya dan pendapatan, HPP dengan metode variable costing, analisis titik impas (BEP). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelembagaan kelompok wanita tani ternak “WANITA KARYA” berjalan dengan baik mulai dari kepengurusan kelompok, manajemen kelompok, kegiatan kelompok, dan pemasaran. Biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan kelompok wanita tani ternak “WANITA KARYA” sebesar Rp138.743.444,00 dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp28.012.756,00. HPP variabel telur ayam buras terendah terjadi pada bulan Januari sebesar Rp691,00  per butir Sedangkan HPP variabel telur ayam buras tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Mei sebesar Rp937,00  per butir hal tersebut di karenakan oleh produksi telur ayam buras dan biaya bahan baku terutama harga pakan yang mengalami kenaikan setiap bulan. Hasil analisis BEP unit telur ayam buras menunjukkan bahwa saat harga telur ayam buras sebesar Rp1.000,00 titik impas terjadi pada saat produksi 130.422 butir dan BEP rupiah sebesar Rp130.421.550,00.

Women livestock farmers "WANITA KARYA" is one of the farmer groups in Banyumas, who maintain “buras” chickens types chicken arabic (Galuss tursicus) with a production of chicken eggs. During the research, production costs that incurred by group each month fluctuates, especially for feed costs. The purpose of this research was to know the profile of women livestock farmers from the institutional aspects and the marketing aspects, to know about the cost of production, the cost and income and to know the break even point (BEP) of “buras” chicken eggs. The method analysis tool used is descriptive analysis cost and revenue, HPP with variable costing method, and determine the break even point (BEP). The results showed that women livestock farmers institutional "WANITA KARYA" runs good, ranging from group management, group management, group activities, and marketing. Production costs that incurred by women livestock farmer group "WANITA KARYA" for 138.743.444 IDR with a profit of 28.012.756 IDR. HPP variable of “buras” chicken eggs was lowest occurred in January of 691 IDR per item, whereas HPP variable of “buras” chicken eggs was highest in May of 937 IDR per item, it was because of the production of “buras” chicken eggs and raw materials especially feed prices had increased every month. The Results of BEP analysis unit free-range chicken eggs showed that when the “buras” chicken eggs price are 1.000 IDR, break even point occurs when the production of 130.422 item and BEP rupiah of Rp130.421.550,00.
