PEMANFAATAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN PENGURANGAN DOSIS PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica chinensis L.)PADA TANAH INCEPTISOL

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan pengurangan dosis pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dengan ketinggian tempat 110 meter di atas permukaan laut pada bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2013. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap faktorial terdiri atas 9 perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi dosis pupuk kandang ayam terdiri atas 0, 10, dan 20 ton/ha; pengurangan dosis pupuk urea 0%, 25%, dan 50% dari dosis anjuran. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, dan volume akar. Data dianalisis dengan analisis varian dan DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis pupuk kandang 20 ton/ha memberikan hasil terbaik pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot tanaman segar, dan bobot tanaman kering. Sedangkan daun terluas dihasilkan pada dosis 10 ton/ha. Pengurangan dosis pupuk urea tidak mengurangi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Tidak ada interaksi terhadap semua perlakuan diantara dosis pemanfaatan pupuk kandang ayam dan pengurangan pupuk urea. Kata kunci : pakcoy, pupuk urea, pupuk kandang ayam

The research aimed to determine the effect of dose of chicken manure and urea reduction application on the growth and yield of pakcoy. The experiment was conducted in the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, University General Sudirman, Purwokerto with altitude of 110 meters above sea level in April to June 2013. The design used was a randomized block design consisting of 9 full factorial treatment was repeated 3 times. Treatment doses tested include chicken manure consists of 0, 10, and 20 ton / ha; dose reduction of fertilizer urea 0%, 25%, and 50% of the recommended dosage. Observation variables include plant height, leaf number, leaf area, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, root fresh weight, dry root weight, and root volume. Data were analyzed with analysis of variance and DMRT. The results showed a dose of manure 20 tonnes / ha gave the best results in variable plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight and dry weight of plants. While the widest leaf is produced at a dose of 10 tonnes / ha. Urea fertilizer dose reduction does not reduce the growth and yield pakcoy. There is no interaction between the treatment dose against all use of chicken manure and urea reduction. Keywords: pakcoy, urea fertilizer, chicken manure.
