PENGARUH SOFT SKILLS, MOTIVASI MEMASUKI DUNIA KERJA, DAN PENGALAMAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA KELAS XII SMKN I PURWOKERTO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis: (1) pengaruh soft skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. (2) pengaruh motivasi memasuki dunia kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. (3) pengaruh pengalaman prakerin terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost-facto karena data yang diperoleh adalah data hasil dari peristiwa yang sudah berlangung, sehingga peneliti hanya menggungkap fakta berdasarkan pengukuran gejala yang telah ada pada responden siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri I Purwokerto. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda dan uji elastisitas. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Soft skills berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri I Purwokerto. (2) Motivasi memasuki dunia kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri I Purwokerto. (3) Pengalaman praktik kerja industri berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri I Purwokerto.

The study has a title : "The Effect of Soft Skills, Motivation Entering the World of Work and Employment Practices Industry Experience to the Job Readiness Class XII SMKN I Purwokerto Academic Year 2012/2013". This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of soft skills to the job readiness of students. (2) the influence of motivation entering the workplace to the job readiness of students. (3) the effect of prakerin work experience to the job readiness of students. This study is an ex post-facto research because the data are obtained from the results of events already taken place, so that the researchers only explore the facts based on the measurement of symptoms contained in the class XII students of SMKN I Purwokerto. The data analysis uses the multiple regression analysis and elasticity. The results can be concluded that (1) Soft skills have positive effect on job readiness to class XII students of SMKN I Purwokerto. (2) Motivation entering the workforce has a positive effect on job readiness of class XII students of SMK Purwokerto. (3) Experience working practices of the industry has a positive effect on job readiness class XII students of SMKN I Purwokerto.
