Skripsi ini berjudul “Analisis Tematik novel Fairish Karya Esti Kinasih”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui unsur-unsur intrinsik terutama tokoh, penokohan, latar, tema dan setting serta tema dalam novel Fairish.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil fokus penelitian tentang tematik dalam novel Fairish. Data primer untuk penelitian ini adalah novel Fairish karya Esti Kinasih. Data sekunder ini di dapat dari buku-buku teori, makalah, baik dari sumber media cetak maupun elektronik yang relevan dengan penelitian. 
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural peneliti mampu mendeskripsikan tema yang terdapat dalam novel Fairish. Tema utama yang terdapat pada novel Fairish adalah tentang percintaan anak SMA yang terjadi ketika tokoh yang diceritakan masih duduk di bangku SMA dan tema-tema minor dalam bab yang ada dalam novel adalah bab 1 (Persahabatan), bab2 (Kesabaran sangat diperlukan), bab 3 (Tetap berusaha dalam keadaan sulit), bab 4 (Dibalik kesulitan terdapat kemudahan), bab 5 (Permasalahan harus dihadapi), bab 6 (Witing tresno jalaran soko kulino), bab 7 (Kesempatan jangan disia-siakan), bab 8 (Terus terang), bab 9 (Balas dendam), bab 10 (Kenangan), dan bab 11 (Kebahagiaan).

The thesis entitle “Thematic Analysis of Fairish novel by Esti Kinasih”. The aim is to know intrinsic unsure especially characters, characterization, background, theme, setting and also theme within the novel of Fairish.
 The method which is used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Focus of research is about thematic within the novel of Fairish. Primary data for the research is the novel itself Fairish by Esti Kinasih. Secondary data is taken from theory’s books, printed or electronic paper which relevant with the research.
The result of research shown by using structural approach the researcher is able to describe the theme in the novel of Fairish. The main theme in the novel of Fairish is about the love of Senior High School student that happened when the character still in Senior High School and the minor themes in chapters of the novel are first chapter (friendship), second chapter (the needs of patient), third chapter (keep trying in the difficult situation), fourth chapter (there is an easy way behind difficulties), fifth chapter (faces the problem), sixth chapter (witing tresno jalaran soko kulino), seventh chapter (do not waste the chance), chapter eighth (honestly), chapter ninth (revenge), chapter tenth (memory), and chapter eleventh (happines).
